I know you weren't. I was just reiterating that Marion is their best player.
Historically, the MVP has come from one of the top 2 regular season teams.
Considering that it's SA and Detroit, I doubt the trend continues...
Fortunately, I wasn't talking about Nash. At this point of the season, I'm not sure who I'd vote for as MVP.

laff laff laff laff
10 days ago I wouldn't have regarded Chauncey as the top contender for MVP but the way he's played lately especially outperforming Dirk and Nash in recent games I would think he deserves strong consideration for it.
He gives us a scoring threat off the bench to compliment Dice. Plays rather similar to Mike James, but may not defend as well as James.
You right but he aint gonna get it though. Nash will probably be the one to get it or maybe Wade.![]()
You gotta remember that Mike was here when there weren't touch-fouls called everytime you breath on a perimeter player. Mike's D hasn't been the same since.
hahaha
from the article on ESPN.com:
The Pistons spent a lot of time arguing with officials, leading to technicals against Billups, Ben Wallace and Rasheed Wallace.
It got so testy that Mason was admonished by official Steve Javie for contorting his face after a call was made against the Pistons.
Man, watching the Pistons today....they don't even need a freakin bench to win. Starting 5 + McDyess are more than enough. It doesn't seem as if the minutes will take a toll on them either.
What's their remaining schedule like anyways? So much for us Spurs fans hoping that the Pistons would lose in their "rough" stretch playing Miami, Dallas, and Pheonix.![]()
Oh and Chauncey's recent performances against Dirk and Nash definitely helped his MVP standing...I still don't think they'll give it to him. More than likey, I think it will go to Kobe if the Lakers can continue to win like they have been.
NO, Miami, Orlando, Indy, Cleveland, Toronto, NY, Milwaukee, Washington...
Not exactly a cake walk...
Damn....Javie will look to slap a tech on anyone! It got so testy that Mason was admonished by official Steve Javie for contorting his face after a call was made against the Pistons.
^Yea that is. Miami and maybe Cleaveland. 2 losses at most I predict.
So is Sheed officially suspended next game? If so, good thing it's not the Miami game next.
Well I suppose it's not 'official' till the league office notifies Sheed and the team........but don't expect him to play Tuesday!
So the new rule is that after the 16th tech, you get suspended for a game? And then for every other tech? So if Sheed gets a tech in the Miami game and another in the Pacers game, he could miss the Cavs game?
You got it!![]()
