It's a Spurs board. What you think is legitimate is, quite frankly, irrelevant.
Shucks...that's been brewing for a while, but even at this late date the jinx potential has me nervous about trotting it out...thanks though.
Werd. I was about to post that.![]()
Eva Longoria
(Didn't read the entire thread, so don't know if this was already posted)
Yeah, he really showed that shrinkage tonight getting the last shot of the game to win by two with 0.7 seconds left on the clock...but I guess you can hope that happens because your team's going to need it...unless Ginobili decides to take him out with an injury like he did in '03 with his flailing.
once again had it not been for webber's INJURY that you mavs fans LOVE to forget about, you wouldnt have even been to the wcf that year. what goes around comes around. now stfu
Webber, huh? Look at where Dirk is then and now. Now look at where Webber is, he has always been way overrated. What goes around does not come around moron, Ginobili needs to stop flopping about like a marionette, the idiot has even injured himself with all his flopping. Besides, how are we responsible for Webber's injuries...re, the whole "what goes around, comes around" crap?
Webber was much better before he got that injury. The mavs interior defense was weak but now they finally solved that issue with getting defensive big man. Dallas would've lost in 6 if Webber was healthy.
thank you
now stfu ponky, you guys got lucky to even be in the wcf so please stfu
"flopping like a marionette" has gotten ginobili
2003 NBA Champion
2004 Olympic gold medalist
2005 NBA Champion
2006 NBA Finalists runner up
Dirk Nowtizki
2006 Tainted 3 point champion
i rest my case
David Stern
(that's a concern)
just because another mavs fan disagrees with me doesn't mean he's right...that fan sounds just like barkley, has an alternative excuse for why the mavs play well when they do...it's not the mavs playing well it's that the opposing team is not up to form, yeah whatever, believe the hype, the Spurs won't repeat, even if they by some slim chance happen to beat the mavs and go on
no they probably wont repeat and for the record the spurs are STILL better than the mavs but whatever helps you sleep at night. at least the spurs were in a position to have the option to "repeat" even possible. the mavs are just tryin to get to the finals.
I wasn't comparing Ginobili to Dirk but if you want to then alright:
* 5-time NBA All-Star: 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
* 5-time All-NBA:
* First Team: 2005
* Second Team: 2002, 2003
* Third Team: 2001, 2004
* NBA All-Star Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout Champion: 2006
* Named MVP and was the leading scorer of the 2002 Basketball World Championships in Indianapolis.
* Named MVP and was the leading scorer of the 2005 European Championship, winning the silver medal with the German national team.
* Named European Basketball Player of the Year in 2005.
It's funny how you put 2006 Finalists runner-up...so you are already conceding that you won't wint he championship this year? Anyway, enough -for-tat for tonight, you guys should be focusing more on red hot Orlando and the Sonics who are both on some nice win streaks against some good teams.
its a bit early and anything can happen, but if detroit is on the other end of the floor, i wouldnt exactly be beaming with joy. I just think at worst, manu will be a finalist runner up.
his subs ution patterns bug you too?
No playoffs.
That is the only way (in two words) that the Spurs won't win the Championship.
Juwan Howard's foul on Derek Anderson in '01 was way dirtier than Manu being knocked down into Dirk.
And what about all the crap Najera pulled when he was in Dallas? If Malik didn't have such a hard head, he might have been knocked out of that series in '03 when Najera kneed him.
Tlong you must be concerned about if how long can your team survive in this league than worry if the Spurs can repeat.
here this ...
There have been rumors of a Michael Jordan-Trail Blazers connection with Nike headquartered in Oregon.
But even Nike executives now see the Trail Blazers as a bad deal. There is now considerable doubt the franchise could command $300 million, which could lead owner Paul Allen to declare bankruptcy. If there were a bankruptcy, the NBA would take over the team as baseball did with the Montreal Expos and find a buyer.

whoa, sounds like your team's future is in trouble. but you are welcome here if you decide to change teams![]()
