Congrats, Pistons. I thought you guys would cake-walk against the Heat....but now I'm thinking that series may go to 7 also. But, I'm sure your team can take on those es.

Flip Saunders coaching weaknesses showed up big time in this series, IMO. Any of you Pistons fans feel the same?

Yes, I do. But I also think he will now reasses what he is doing on the offensive end. The Pistons D was not the problem in this series, it was lethargic play and the inablility to make semi-open shots. Miami is not a good defensive team. They are big and slow, and Chauncey won't have to deal with Eric Snow as well, so that is a plus. If and when the Pistons were to meet up with Spurs, Pop would severly outcoach Flip, but I think revenge, homecourt, and TD's foot would be enough for the Pistons to overcome that mismatch and win, hopefully.

Tough to say. If anything, people expected the defensive adjustments to be poor. Really, that wasn't the case at all. We held that team to about 16ppg less than their season average.

The problem we had was offense. Largely because Chauncey is in a slump and Rasheed's on a bum ankle. That also lets the D focus on Rip and Tayshaun a bit too much. I liked that he called a ton of post-ups for Tayshaun and Sheed in the last 2 games though. It slows the game down a ton, but both of those guys are very effecient and draw doubles.

We'll see what happens against Miami though.

^^I agree FP22, but I can't help but think that he didn't make adjustments on the offense. IDKY, it just seemed to me like we ran the same plays over and over again. I would've liked to see more of those back door cuts and more plays that would give us easy shots. Not post up plays where you really have to work extremely hard for your shot. I'm still happy tho, we won the game and advance to play the Heat. I love to play against them, they hate us sooo much, it's funny to me.

Good luck Spurs! I know ya'll can do it!
