Sounds like RedLion...
LUCKY CRIMINALS DON'T DESERVE TO LIVE...![]()
Great effort by the Pistons on D, now THAT Detroit team is much more fun to watch. I don't know the last time I've seen a team force two 5 second counts in the same game...![]()
The "lucky" part gave it away...
Isn't he like 15?
Props to Flip for a good coaching night, pulling Ben with 4:30 to go force Riley to go to Hack-A-Dice which failed miserably.
Hack a Dice nice try![]()

DAMM I AM GOOD![]()
SHAQ to Rachel Nichols of ESPN: that was a foul young lady
That was a sweet block when asked about it Ben said he got lucky. LOL
Yea, Ben bruised his ego so badly there must have been contact.
I will say that Bowens block was way more important due to the cir stances of the game and when it took place....but Ben sending Shaq to the floor was much more impessive in my eyes.
Come on, this is Shaq we're talking here. Blocking Dirk is like blocking my grandmother.![]()
ok ok.. They were both great plays.![]()

YA ES. There is the previously talked about block.
Pistons have to be very, very, very careful in Game 6 now. They better not get over-confident/arrogant and get the job done. Holding Miami to 78 points was awesome
Come on Pistons..........2 MORE!!!!![]()
, I dont feel half as good as some fo you about this.
Miami will not shoot FT's like that ever again (in this series). The refs will not be so kind on the physical defense in Miami.
Dont get me wrong, they werent giving the Pistons the game (check some of the BS calls DWade got), but on defense, they let alot of physical stuff go.
The only hope for the Pistons in game 6;
1) Same defense and effort, regardless what the refs call. You cant hang offensively with Miami. DWade is God.
2) Hope that your three guns (CB, Rip and Sheed) offset the additional production Miami is going to get at the charity stripe. They will not shoot 6-20, I guarantee.
3) Keep double-teaming Wade before he gets the ball. I am not stupid, I know when this kid actually puts his hands on the ball, 70% of the time it means Miami points. So dont let him touch it. Ever. lol
4) Most important: STAY COOL!!!!! Dont let the refs get in your head...for no ing reason should any player or a coach take a tech. It has never helped in close games.
Look, on the ref thing, I dont even like mentioning it really. It is such a BS excuse or whatever. Complaining of conspiracies and all that other NBA voodoo is a complete waste of time.
But one thing is true. Homecourt matters. Home team most of the time gets the calls unless they are being completely outplayed. Obviously, game 6 is going to go one of two ways, really close or total blowout. Close game = either way. Blowout = Miami going to Finals.
We arent going to run Miami off their own floor. If we do, holy I would lose my mind. But that isnt going to happen.
Basically, we one game out of the 3 we need. I seriously did not expect the Pistons to win this game. But they did. I sincerely doubt they win game 6. I also sincerely hope I am dead ing wrong.
God, I hate Alonzo Mourning. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Win this series Pistons!!With 2:11 left in the first quarter of the Heat-Pistons Game 5 Wednesday night, Tayshaun Prince finished a slamdunk for the Pistons when he inadvertently swung his legs and bumped Heat center Alonzo Mourning, who responded by shoving Prince while he was still hanging on the rim. Mourning and Rasheed Wallace were pointing fingers, but cooler heads prevailed and no technical fouls were issued.
