See above...
Shaq did more than "fall down"...quit under-stating things...he got ran over, but there didn't appear to be contact with Shaq's head...
Uh, Heinrich was on a fast break going for the lay-up.
Posey did the exact same thing Stackhouse did, just minus the guy being in mid-air, seeing as Heinrich has a limited whiteboy vertical. You can't hold that against him!

Sure you are. And elitist to boot.
The above pictures do not show the initial body contact by Stackhouse, only the follow through.
Dude, it doesn't have to be above the shoulders to be suspended.
Just like you can be going for the ball and it be a flagrant.
man, how many times do players have to rush the stands in a couple season's time?
Next time it'll be more than six.
Guaransheed.
Not to mention the fact he followed through like that only made things worse.
I guess nobody captured that picture then...
Did you even read my post???![]()
When I saw the play I was surprised Stackhouse wasn't ejected. Of course, in true 2006 playoffs fashion it was Stackhouse who first got to shoot a free throw afterwards (yes I know there was a T). Stackhouse ran into Shaq at full speed without any play on the ball. He led with an elbow above the shoulder. No matter if contact was made, that is not exactly a play to make without expecting to pay for it. Maybe instead of blaming the league Mavs fans can find it within themselves to blame a player for making a stupid play.
Him.
Is that his head, being made contact with?
Shaq's didn't appear to be intentional...he was making a play on the ball. Was it intentional? Yeah, IMO Shaw knew exactly what he was doing...but it's not conclusively intentional. Stack's was obvious that he wasn't even going for the ball. It was obvious that he was going for a hard foul and the original replays did show him catching Shaq in the head with his elbow. He wasn't going for the ball and it was above the shoulders. You can sit there and see Stack sizing him up for it. The rule is clear and either you don't know the rules of the game and are blind...or you are full of it.
Stop whining victim...just stop it. It was a blatant shot to the head on the man with the ball. Shaq's foul wasn't. Them's the rules and at least they are being consistent about it.

I'd say that the difference is intent. I didn't see that Shaq's play on Stackhouse was deliberate -- the contact above the shoulder was incidental to the play that Shaq was making on the ball. It wasn't called a flagrant, which automatically makes it distinguishable from Stackhouse's. And, as importantly, the league didn't make a flagrant after the fact and means that my point remains correct.
The body contact happened before those pics. I guess you forgot that some here actually watched the game.
I say to with the last three games. Let Shaq and Stack cagefight for the OBrien. I would do pay per view for THAT.
Hadn't seen that one...looks like contact above the shoulders...wish it was from the backside though...
I don't blame the league at all...it is what it is.
Give me Stack...too quick and scrappy...![]()
Shaq would make Stack his .
Dude, it was with all the other pictures you hotlinked from Yahoo. That's what Cuban said.wish it was from the backside though.
Hah... that was a brutal foul, and would have injured anyone else on that team.
I don't think he should have been suspended, but then again I think the game should be called like it was in the 80s when you could actually play ing defense and soft-ass German es didn't go flying to the ground like a sniper took them out every time someone gives them a little tap.
Cuban, you pushed for the pussy game. You can't have it both ways.
I think that Shaq would be everyones nightmare to fight...wind up a punch from your ankle and break your hand on his jaw...and he would just grin and shake it off...
Stackhouse also won you guys game 2 with the ridiculous threes he was hitting in the second quarter.
Actually Stack's ploy was pretty smart...he knew Shaq was going to be pissed, and Shaq'd either have to deal with it, or make his move on Stack. If Shaq had gone after him it would have been an automatic ejection and Stack would have looked pretty damn smart. Wade saved the game in more ways than one there.
It's important to stay on topic.![]()
Messing with you.
