She's not just "some bs mod." It's her site; you play by her rules (which are really very lenient and accepting) or you don't play.

As for the rest, I'll maintain that the Spurs 3 les are much more relevant to discussions of basketball today than the Cowboys or the 49'ers 5 les are to discussions of football. The driving force behind all 3 of the Spurs les is still playing (and playing well) in the NBA. As long as he's playing, he'll have those pelts on the wall, which all signify the fact that he and those around him have figured out how to get it done from time-to-time.
There are better arguments to support the Spurs than just a look at the past, but pointing to that past is very much different than pointing to the past of a team that hasn't gotten it done in a long time, or one that hasn't gotten it done with it's current core.
