I'm on Spursfansocal's side just because nobody else is. I don't care how people spell, but he had a cause and unfortunately feel victim to a relaxed punctuation structure while pointing out a much more negligable flaw.

The internet forum's trademark is that it usually turns into a joust between who can top who. Southerncal was merely trying to make a PSA and you jackals turned on him.

    For shame.

Because we've finally worked out the technical difficulties with the hidden mics.

I still don't know how to properly use "to" and "too".
A tip I learned back in school was this...............

If you can insert the word "tuh", like I'm going "tuh" the store, use "to".

When you can't use it, like this......that is "tuh" much. Use "too".

Well, then I would disagree that lose/loose mistakes are "more negligible", than its/it's, which is often no more than a simple typo.

Alright, I got to admit something to you. I was just talking just to talk. I really don't even know what you just meant. I like playing a video game I like to call Devil's advocate. 'Twas a joke.

What I meant (obviously not clearly) was that a lose/loose mistake 99% of the time is becuase the person truly doesn't know the correct spelling, where I'd wager the majority (or at least a huge fraction) of it's/its mistakes are typos.

Actually that would be "misspellings". "Misspells" is a verb.

And you already know better English than a lot of people on this board.

Frankly, I'm amazed at how well a lot of non-native speakers can negotiate the huge amount of idiomatic expressions and slang on an Internet board.

Yup. This is frickin global thing.
In other countries like poland we add some polish endings and some fantstic words are being invented. I like it and I do it many times. But I do not like the "showoff kind of guys" who thinks they are pimps or something like that (hehe) speaking with an "American Slang" (Gangsta style - sheesh)

Btw. I wish that many of you here could caught my attention to the mistakes and misspellings I'm doing.

For excample when I've done the loose - lose mistake (on chat) , somebody told me (well was angry) that it was a mistake. I was wtf? I've checked and now no loose thing.

See, like "Yup" and "Frickin'". My foreign language skills are so distant (and so weak when I had them) I can't ever imagine being good enough to know appropriate colloquial phrases in French or Spanish.

You should teach us some of those Polish gansta words here. I am pretty good with foreign curse words, for some reason.

Probably because they've been used on you so often, you picked it up...

Soogar - You would have to hear how to speak them. I can't teach you through the internet (net).

Most of the polish words are realy hard to speak for (to?) forigners. So looking like you guys try to learn some polish. Hilarious
