after he got owned by germans? he needs to earn my trust.
He needs to earn your trust after we stopped Dirk and Pascal Roller was shooting threes 4/4 or something?!
    Ain't you a primadonna?

He got us to the WC! And the Germans were third at the last WC, so I guess he wasn`t the only coach "getting owned"...
yeah, our team beat the s shocked Croatia. it's not that he lost to the Geramns it's that he lost because of his mistakes - like benching Breza when Germany couldn't stop him.

We'll probably beat Senegal and China and than we'll be so happy that we completed our objective that we won't mind losing by 20+ points to Lithuania and everybody will then try to explain to us how this is a great succes.

And getting 20 points per quarter is not defense.

    rasho was visibly frustrated (
Beno was really good he was forcing the pace and was playing really well... until his coach took him out for a quarter or so...

Manu played well he had a sequence where he had 4 straight dazzling assists

    Lithuania isn`t in our group.
Anything more than the second round will be a success, anything less a faliure.

no change... Oberto and Scola were magnificient. Manu was a NBA playoff miracle. Delfino was racing, and Nocioni killed us all.

Beno was shooting it, Rasho was the only thinking man, but he played the center position and wasn't a designated shooter, Brezec was clumsy, Jaka was not in sync wih others. Nachbar was too passionate and Sani way too cold.

I must say Pipan and others will learn a lot from all of this. They were a laughing stock and should be declared as clowns of this tournament. Serbia should lose the next game. Only Slokar, Rasho, Beno and Milic played the game the learned long time ago. Others just wanted to be lucky?!?!

But Pero is right. We are on the learning curve and pride would be sin till we at least achieve something. And then, like we know from ZZ, pride is even a greater sin. So relax... People needs to appreciate each other on the court. Ozbolt made a world of difference and we can only hope what can Dragic do. Let's just wait and see.

    we stoped Nowitzki?

he scored 22 points just 4 points less than his average - and at what cost? doubling him so Roller can shoot open 3pters.

If we beat Senegal&China we get to top16 guess which group we cross with?

top16 is not succes - it's realistic. Getting our buts kicked by any half-decent team out there is not OK.

    I can understand. Sorry, Sho.

Beno was really good he was forcing the pace and was playing really well...
I wish I had seen this game. Beno and Sho both did really well.
I am so proud of them.

Manu played well he had a sequence where he had 4 straight dazzling assists
Gino amazes me- even after all this time watching him play. He really is a magician on the court.

. Nachbar was too passionate .
Do you think Nachbar was too passionate because he was trying to make up for yesterday?

He had one of the lowest FG%. Roller got his shots not couse of doubling. He was just on fire from the game before.

Eh, say what you want, I don`t really care for this meaningless game. I`ve got other things to be pissed about...
I don`t see why people get frustrated even before the WC, when it really matters...

anyway we can't get much out of the game... because the subs utions were weird
Argentina started out really slowly... their offense was bad while the slovenians were executing well...

during the first part it was the frontcourt for Arg who was the center of the offense (too much one on one me thinks?) and the offense looked slow... meanwhile Beno was breaking down the argentine defense and was executing some good passes

im gettingtoo lazy to recall so during the second half the defense got a little lazy me thinks and argentina took advantage and pulled away

China has Yao Ming and ZhiZhi, two NBA centers. They have a lot less egos and big pressure to make any result. It like playing against Slovenia in Beograd, but with more quality centers and with more fans. Beating China is not easy, and after playing against Argentina, I do not know if even possible.

We can beat anyone, but I doubt we will be playing against drunk teams with little sleep and no ambition, so please... Germans we should win against, but we don't know about others? Senegal is the only team to count as a possible suprise. Any other team is just a serious opponent.

Argentina played like they are capable of in the second half. In the first half, they had little ball movement and a lot of players were trying to score one-on one. In the second half ARG started to move the ball and run some nice pick-n-rolls. Coupled with all the SLO turnovers and the game slipped away in the 3Q.

It does not upset me as much as some, as ARG has been the best team in the world the past 4 years. I know they lost to S & M yesterday, but when they play well, they could still win the WC. I think the frustration stems from two good first quarters these past 2 days. As someone said, the rotations will not be this way next week.

You can see, though, the guys on SLO have not been this way before. It is a first for them, and some of the inexperience is showing. SLO has probably NEVER played a team as good as ARG.

I did enjoy Rasho's steal and HIM running the break- ended with his assist.

    Rasho 12 points/ 10 rebounds

The starting unit played much better with Beno than Jaka today.
yeah Rasho leading the break was WOAH hehehe and the pass was right on the money too! followed by an unexpected reverse jam lolol Milic can jump high but i don't think he can do much from what i saw... the guy can't hit a jumper and he doesn't move really well...

Back to the game, having read the whole thread... doesn't it say something good about the team that they made that comeback towards the end when they could have quit?
