Depriving someone of a PS3?![]()
Listen to yourself Tlong.
Besides, If I'm depriving one person, I'm also allowing another person to get it. They just will have to pay a bit more.![]()
That is not the point Manny. What I don't like is depriving somebody of buying the PS3 for $600 when you have no intention of keeping it. It's especially puzzling given your liberal nature.

It's called supply and demand. The demand exceeds supply, so there will be a premium on the cost of the consoles that are available. They're are people in the world stupid enough to buy much more than the actual cash value, maybe they are rich, maybe they have for brains. But the fact of the matter is a rip-off is a rip-off no matter the cir stance, if the person chose to buy it at a extremely high price it is still considered a rip-off even if he or she knew what they were doing, they probably know that they're getting ripped off, but they REALLY need a PS3 or a 360.
Damn these people for taking advantage of a free market society.
How is my logic ed?
Answer the question and don't get off topic:
If the actual cash value for a PS3 is 600 dollars and I buy it for 2000, did I get ripped or did I not? Use logic to answer it.
Also, if anybody knows ANYTHING about videogame consoles the 1st versions, just like the V1 PS2's and the V1 X-Box's will always defect on your ass in 3-4 weeks of use. Making it even more of a rip-off for buying 3X it's price.
And let me get this straight one more time:
The following is un-logical:
Buying a PS3 is un-logical if I buy it for $600. .

you can tell the credit card company to credit something back, but usually the delay in applying the credit is with visa or mastercard - on the seller's end the credit can be applied within 24-48 hours, but the card company can take up to 1-2 billing cycles to actually apply it.
Who is Amy?

Although I feel I should get credit for this.
Cannonball run, he was good in that.
I believe he also did fill in for the monkey in that movie about baseball starring him and Joey from Friends.
Right alongside the greats, Koko the Gorilla, Bubbles (MJ's chimp), Dr. Zaus. Amy will one day be right along side of them.
If you paid $2k for it, you obviously felt it was worth $2000.If the actual cash value for a PS3 is 600 dollars and I buy it for 2000, did I get ripped or did I not? Use logic to answer it.
Do you hate all companies? Have you ever shopped at a store? Because all goods are sold at a profit, are you being ripped off every time you open your wallet?
If the opportunity cost of something for someone is $2000, even though the sticker is only $600, then that's what it's worth to them.
You get ripped off when you have no choice in the matter. So if you only want to pay $600 for it, then wait until the supply is such that you can get it for $600. No one forced you to buy one for $2000.
AHF, are you still planning on camping out? I think both Jess and Myself will be camping out so that we can get 2.
Word...
Anybody hating on re-sellers needs a reality check and an economics class.
I think I'll camp out too. If only these poor suckers could play a PS3 before s ing out 2G for it..
There's no way I'd buy one of these if I had to keep it.
Cause he's tryin to get PAID!
It'd be stupid to not try and get 1 or 2 or more and try to re-sell 'em... how many other opportunties come along where you can double your money or more by doin absolutely nothing?
Sorry... I guess there's no softspot in my heart for all the poor lil kids that wont get one on Christmas. It's too expensive for 'em to be gettin for Christmas anyway. Gonna make their parents go broke and , damn Sony.
I have re-evaluated my position on this. I see nothing wrong with what Manny is doing.
i hope you're camping out already.

PS3 lines already spotted
Nine days before the new console goes on sale, a few determined gamers have already decamped outside a Burbank, California, retailer.

Americans are already getting in line for the PlayStation 3--nine days before its official November 17 release date. Seven people have been spotted camping out at Best Buy in Burbank, California, and date-stamped photos were posted as proof on various gaming forums including Cheap Ass Gamer.
Reports of other lines have also surfaced, bringing back memories of the queues outside movie theatres some six weeks before the Star Wars prequels came out. A "target" of 400,000 PS3 consoles will be available on the launch date in North America, with many no doubt already reserved by those who managed to put in a preorder.
Poster OneWingedAngel wrote that he had been at Best Buy for a job interview when he saw the hardcore campers outside. "The awesome thing was, as I was waiting outside, I saw a bunch of people coming to Best Buy and picking up Gears of War," he wrote. "A few people made some funny remarks. One guy is like, 'I hope you guys brought enough food!' Another one said, 'Where is the line for PS4? Is it on the other side?'"
I saw pictures of those losers.
I'm willing to do Wednesday night until they open, but thats it. Thats more than 24 freaking hours, but I'm not doing anything sooner than that. If that means I don't get , then screw it I'll just play more poker.

how dare you take advantage of the rich nerdlings willing to pay 2 grand for a ps3.
We're talking about it still at work. Problem is, we've got 20 clients coming in for the two days prior to its release, and I'm the main presenter/trainer.
SO if some other guys can get out there early, I'm down. If not, there's no way that I'll be there in time for one getting out there probably 8 PM the night before.
D'oh, turns out those people were camping for Gears Of War. No one is camping today.
You gotta be kidding me. EBGames has GOW in stock at most of their stores in LA.
I dunno man, just what I read. Either way, those guys aren't very smart.
The winning bidder has zero feedback. Thats a pretty bogus winning bid. Sucks for the seller, he's going to have to relist.
Yeah I watched that bid while it was happening. He raised the bid from 2000 to 5000 for no reason.
I'm glad I have all my preorders in all ready. Hopefully my cousin is still buying one of them.
