It definitely looked like the Rockets were a lot more fired up in the first half.
They will not continue their hot shooting through the whole game.

Finley could never dribble, still managed to get 20ppg for a bunch of seasons.

Just not our half - Pop gets to go off at them during the break now
    Are you watching the game?

This isn't just Finley's normal "not having great handles", when he gets the ball he's acting "re ed" (courtesy of Tim Duncan) like he doesn't know what the to do.

The Spurs are always the cure for whatever ails T-Mac.

Anyway the Spurs won't shoot this bad in the 2nd half.

And maybe they'll be smart enough to stop using the player that's guarding TMac to be the one to go double Yao.

Actually Fin has been ok tonight - Barry, not so much. Fin is matching up better.

TD took some good shots that just didn't go in - think it's the new ball, otherwise they looked good early on.
Duncan's shots not only didn't go in they're not even close. That shot right above the foul line used to be money. Now I cringe when he gets that shot. These days no one will be within 5 feet of him and it'll still be a brick. His bank shot seems to have gone south also. And what's with the weak moves around the block. He doesn't seem to use any footwork whatsoever. Just making it easy for Mutombo to measure up those weak shots he's throwing up.

Not a good sign when the best player in the first half was Robert Horry.

He's only 40 years old. I bet if he was 50 he would have a much tougher time.

Whether it's Bruce or Manu, they are sending him to double Yao and then they can't get back to TMac.

    It's stupid.

Just stay home on your man and let Yao get his.

I'm more inclined to say it was Cisco Kid.

No, in the first, his first couple of shots looked good, just rimmed out or hit at a slightly odd angle and bounced out.

At the end of the second - you're right.

I understand when our shots are off. It's not great, but I understand it.

But what I don't understand is when we make so many mental mistakes. That's what kills me.

The turnovers and leaving their 3 point shooters open like that are mental mistakes.

Is Bowen getting overpowered by Tmac? Tmac has played horribly this year. Has Bruce slowed any player down this season? Is his defense sliding due to age, strict rules, etc.?
