you're sorta right. What matters most is what's happening this year, but there is another ladder of success le teams try to climb. If Dallas is ever fortunate enough to win a le you will see what I mean. Spurs right now have an opportunity to put themselves in elite status with one more le, right behind the Celts, Lakers, and Bulls.Wow!! This is the first time I've seen a Spurs fan that realizes this...awesome...
The best analogy I can make is the on going compe ion between the Cowboys, Niners, Steelers and now Patriots.
What's most important for the Cowboys is to win this weekend but win or lose the Seahawks are no where near the franchise the Cowboys are.
Mavs Fan= Seahawk Fan.

See, in some towns, there are actually multiple professional sports franchises.
It's amazing that no matter what the short-term subject of a conversation is, there's always a Spurs fan to somehow turn it in to "Oh yeah, well...how many les do the Mavs have?"

Mavs fans in this thread ing about le smack are the most full of fans of all time. When they talk about the Cowboys, I'm sure the first thing most of them say have to do with their superbowl les.
If you want to argue about this year and this year then the teams are virtually identical. There's nothing to argue about. If you want to argue about last year, then fine. You squeeked by the Spurs and then blew your wad all over your own face. I'd rather have the Spurs out in the 2nd round then to be so close only to leave with your hymen still in place.
