We have parental controls on the TV's mookie, and that falls into a rating they need the password to watch. So you can sleep a little easier now.
not everyone is as responsible as you, you know millions of kids get babysat by the tv everynight, its hard to stop them from seeing something thats free. with HBO, dont order it (i think you must have digital cablebox which comes with parental controls), they cant buy porn, cant get into rated R movies and cant go see GWAR in concert

I like it and most people that like action packed movies/shows etc, should like it to.

It's a free country and everybody has the Bill of Rights and Freedom of Speech, as long as they're doing it peacefully. I mean this is a current situation with America and the rest of the world and is interesting, so this is gonna make money. I'm pretty sure sitcoms and comic books were made to show off America combatting the Japanese and Germans during WWII. (Marvel/DC comics for one), so everybody should know it's fiction. Nobody needs to go sucidial or anything over this.
if the american media reported the number 1 show in Iran for 3-5 years running was stoning and enslaving captured Americans as a major theme, that would be relevent for them in todays climate. Its fiction- the rational human wouldnt think that a TV show could start a war, or even matter enough to be a factor if a war were possible. But the EXTREME "right", pro-war, pundits, columinist, propagandist AND extreme right religious leaders (robertson, falwell, the otherguy) would most certainly use it to get you to hate muslims just that much more, how theyre a serious threat, and want to kill you, etc...

basically he believes the degredation of civil rights beginning with the patriot act has not stopped or gone away, and is a cons ionalist from the Jonesian school of thought. I dont think he wants to take it off now that its the number one show but its pretty ridiculous to gloss over the fact that some of the content can make impressions on youngins. So what if they make it 'obvious' that camps are wrong? Kids are kids.
If he actually knew how to type and punctuate, im sure he'd get his ideas out more clear.

If I were the writer of 24 I would have Keifer Sutherland turn into a vampire, then base the show around the california city of Santa Carla, where Keifer would save america by turning people into vampires around a carnival near the beach.

I'm not saying that Muslim extremists aren't a terroristic threat, but if you think Muslim terrorists outnumber domestic terrorists by such a wide margin you are mistaken. Domestic terrorism is a problem in this country. There are dozens if not a hundred separate New World Order sects in Montana alone that advocate overthrowing the US Government and people by force. They just fly under the radar because they don't have the Arab Oil money to fuel their hate and terroristic acts. Research the book "The Turner Diaries" by William Pierce and remember that there are hundereds of thousands of people who believe and worship this . The ideas in this book fueled the McVeigh and Nichols bombing and currently fuel tons of idiots nationwide. I've worked cases involving these idiots several times over the last few years. If they ever get the funding - they will be much deadlier than foreign terrorists.
