I'm not excited at the Mavericks losing tonight, by the way. Dallas is still 8 ahead of SA in the loss column. It's just funny to hear them being compared to Jordan's Bulls and then get blown out by the Warriors. Warriors are just going out there and beating a team they're supposed to beat.

the bulls lost to the raptors that year

every team no matter how good will have an abomination of a game now and then

And you must be kidding in return. Devin taking charges is considered flopping? It's a part of the game that takes real balls to do. You'd be insane to think that anyone thinks Devin is a more notorious flopper than Manu.
Manu hasn't been taking the flops on D much as of late in case you haven't noticed. Devin has three flops so far in this game alone.

i see harris taking hard contact a lot.
granted, he does draw a lot of charges.
but he puts that on the line.

That's not true. A team that can go out and beat the Mavs, can lose to the Spurs. For example, the Mavs beat the Spurs, but couldn't beat the Heat. Dallas does not want Golden State as the #8 playoff seed.
People said the same about the Spurs a few years ago when they played Denver in the first round... and they beat their ass. It will be the same with the Mavs and GS.

are both teams still playing their starters? i'd imagine much of the 4th quarter will be garbage time ... no use getting unnecessary injuries.

Contact Elias. The Mavs beat the Lakers by 36 last night and currently they are losing by 28. I wonder if that is the most extreme winning and losing margin for back to back games in history.

that denver team really didn't have our number though... it was just that they had the best or 2nd best record in the league after the allstar break and George Karl was really getting them to play well.

if you think the mavs don't care about 70 wins you're an idiot. of course they want to win 70 games, i think AJ even wants to. that being said, they'll never publicly say that and no, they don't want to win 70 more than a le. but i guarantee you they want 70.
Jason Terry - "It's easy for us to tune it out, just knowing we haven't accomplished anything," Terry said. "We're a team that has a goal in mind. Until we accomplish that goal, we're focused on the task at hand."

Dirk - "We're still a long way away from where we want to be in the playoffs. We have a lot of stuff we can get better at," said Dirk Nowitzki."

Avery - "We're a hungry basketball team because we don't have what we've been looking for," Johnson said. "Even though we may have a decent record, we still haven't been awarded anything yet."

You want to change that guarantee? A 70th win would only come as part of Avery's process to get this team ready for the playoffs. If it happens, then it happens because it's part of their way to the postseason. Not because it's a goal for the team.

I wonder if the Warriors will make us wear our home whites when we go over there. Maybe if we do we'll wear our black shoes again. I don't care if the Bulls kicked our ass when we did it, I thought the look was sweeeet.

one of the absolute worst movies i've ever seen. laughably, overthetop bad, but not in an enjoyable way.

on college campuses, its one of the most popular movies. this does not speak well for my generation.

So, what does this game mean for Avery? Is he unable to perform against Nellie? Does Avery really belong as a head coach, or did he merely pick up the baton just as a team was about to take off? Are the mavs winning in spite of Avery?

OMG, B2B or whatever it may be that caused Dallas to struggle tonight against Warriors this is simply a lesson that we can never understimate teams playoff-bound or not.

or is this just Nellie's payback?
