They look beat already. If they lose 2 in a row, including to their standings rival Suns, could be huge blow to their confidence.

you being a mavs fan i thought you would have more hope than that. you've came back from these kinda deficits before.
this is how phoenix plays. they go on huge runs, then they turn around and give up huge runs. a 20 point differential in a suns game is nothing, whether they're up or down.
Doubtful against a team like the Suns. You gotta come out strong. All the hype got to the Mavs. Seems like Avery has slacked off as well. Doesn't help that our centers are no threat on offense.
Mavs don't have any choice but to match the Suns small ball. They have no big that is anywhere close to a big that's an inside threat to impose himself on the Suns. And all the Mavs can take Diop and Dampier outside and kill them.

I'm glad the refs don't bail out Dirk anymore on that fadeaway because he likes to give a little bump to clear space before going up for the jumpshot. Last year they were calling that crap on the defender.
