Spurs will make a concerted effort to rebound on the defensive end and stop the fastbreak, so offensive rebounding will suffer some, I suspect.

Bowen has defended Anthony well in the past and there's no reason he won't be up to it again.

Iverson can and has gone off on the Spurs before but the key to him is keeping him out of the lane and letting him and his career 42% shooting percentage jack up shots from the outside.

Um, I'd have to disagree. The only Nugget who plays decent defense is Camby, and his defense largely consists of blocking shots in the paint. As someone else pointed out, the high pick and roll exposes him easily.

"Scared" Gimme a break! Spurs never backed down from the three peat Lakers giving them a spanking on way to 3rd le and took them to a tough 6 games the following year.

I have seen REAL superstars in the NBA and Shaq and Kobe are among a select handful with Duncan among that elite championship credentialed crowd. AI and CA are still wanabees period! Bring em on. Denver will win a game or two when AI or CA gets some calls but not a series - Spurs will be tested and go onto trounce the Suns. Mark it Down!

I've just never been that impressed with Nene. He barely plays rotation minutes, and he drops, what, 11p/7r? BFD. Our two headed center is better than that.

um...since around feb hes been a 15/8 type guy shooting well over 50% (almost 60%) in about 30-32 mpg.

They are the same-good rebounding team, with a good player or two, but no three point shooting, no bench, no defense, no chemistry, no outside shooting, and no consistency. If the Spurs were to pack the paint or play a zone, the Nuggets would be toast.

I'm pretty good at NOT being overly optimistic, which is what you are being. AI and Melo THREE POINT SHOOTERS?? AI is a ing slasher, he gets hot off of slashing and shooting short jumpers. Melo shoots in the 20% range for threes, he can have all the threes he wants. Ok, maybe the Nuggets have a little chemistry, I'll give you that, but enough to beat the Spurs? I don't think so.
