The VaTech police chief said he wasn't sure whether the two shootings were related, but that they weren't looking for a second shooter at this point....how much sense does that make?

Get rid of the guns.....one of the most efficient way to take a human life...I'd take my chances with someone with a knife...pipe bombs...yes, a lot murders happen with pipe bombs. Please, this only happens in the US to this sort of extent. You look at Japan and the UK and I don't see this happenening at schools.

I'm fairly certain that most crimes are committed by people who didn't obtain them legally to begin with.
Banning them completely isn't going to make them disappear. Like Prohibition was so successful, too.

Prohibition....has nothing to do with guns...of course banning guns won't keep all guns out...but it will help. I just hope you feel safe and comfortable in your life knowing that anyone can get a gun a shoot someone. Look at other countries, rather than shrugging your shoulders.
Exactly. Virginia Tech banned guns on campus, and what happens? Someone determined to use a gun on campus managed to sneak in an arsenal.
Ban all the guns, and only the people with bad intentions will have them and use them.
One guy every few years kills a bunch of people...so lets take away the con utional rights of a hundred and fifty million law-abiding gun owners?
Those countries never had the proliferation of guns we now have, and then tried to ban them.

I'm actually more afraid of people talking on their ing cell phones while driving than I am about anyone carrying a gun.
And Prohibition was trying to ban something that is virtually unbannable. Trying to make it illegal isn't going to stop those who really want it.
That cell phone footage that's on constant loop on CNN is frightening. (the one where you can hear the shots in the back and people yelling)

They'll definately do Imus, but probably not (at least right now) this because of the sensitivity of it.
Also, I thought it took months for them to make a single episode...
They can do episodes in under a week.
Southpark can put out a new show within a few days. And they don't give a who thinks what about them, essay.
