Suns suck.
Not that I'm a fan of him and his homer comments, but you have to admit that he has toned down as of late...
lol, only because of the jc suspension and the warriors getting into the playoffs, he's on cloud nine...he made some stupid comments in another thread about this game
Warriors haven't made it yet. If Clips win then Warriors have to beat Portland.
I have refrained from posting anything other than general NBA discussion with less of my own opinions to avoid stupid polls about why im the worst poster here, or 30 insult replies to one post stating who I think is the MVP. Everyone already knows what all my opinions are. It's getting hard enough to keep up with reading here with all the Crawford/Duncan threads. We don't need any more anti-SpursDynasty threads like we had last week.
As far as the JC suspension, there isn't a single person on this forum who disagrees with it. If you do, you don't appreciate high profile basketball games and the fact that people want to see athletes play and not miss out on that for bizarre ejections.
Warriors will take it 7 if they get in. Not saying they'll win.
me too but it's mostly 90% because of d'antoni...the other ten percent is spread between raja and marion...tim thoomas used to have some of that too but he's no longer on the team...everyone else is alright
Suns lost their last two games while trying their asses off.
you Joey Crawford.![]()

Looks like Clippers may win this. GS will probably win too, so nothing's changed as far as chances for the 8 seed tonight, other than GS still holds it as of now.
that is incorrect about the consensus as to jc's suspension, i've read several threads of people who thought it might have been harsh...however, i am not one of them so don't assume anything about me.
when you say things like the jazz are better than the rockets and bash the rockets for not being any good, it's hard to believe that you watch any games outside of spurs games
Whatever. You guys will still beat the Suns.
yeah that sucks hard when this much is on the line. but don't you think the spurs are going to beat the suns regardless of hca for the second round?
19 offensive rebounds the Suns allowed at Houston yesterday and 20 today to Clips. Weak.
I'll be shocked if the Mavs don't sweep the Warriors in round 1. honestly. i thought i was scared, but there's no ing way in i'm scared of these guys. They create a few matchup problems, yes, but mainly this season they caught the Mavs at bad times (like a 17 game winning streak when the Mavs were due for a bad game).
I'll be pissed off if the Mavs let the Warriors win ONE game in the playoffs. I'm willing to bet my and at least one of my testicles that the Mavs beat Golden State in 5 games or less.
The Spurs will beat the Suns regardless, go take a nap. I think Mavs-Houston would be a much more interesting series to be honest.
I agree with everyone here. dantoni is a ing asshole. the sun must go down
Comes down to Clippers vs Hornets and Warriors vs Blazers tomorrow night. Clippers have to win at all costs. Warriors can't lose unless Clippers lose too.
Unless Warriors blow the game tonight.
Suns/Spurs is going 6 games at the minimum and 7 games as the 2nd possible scenerio. I really get a kick out of people who just act like this is 2005 all over again. Spurs will have their hands full against the Suns come round 2. Just dont expect this to be 2005.
Small ball is hard to prepare for when you're on the second night of a back to back and the Warriors coaches and players are as rockhard and ready for bear as me after viewing a Jessica Simpson video. In the playoffs, it comes down to who can get stops and execute better in the halfcourt. We'll have our hands full trying to defend the trio of Davis, Richardson and Ellis, but that's the extent of it. Nellie's doesn't work in the playoffs, never has, never will. We're the new Spurs.
What about the Spurs holding the Phoenix Suns to their season low field goal percentage in their last meeting? Defense is defense, it doesn't make a different what year it is.
And you guys are going to sweep GS and Houston?![]()
Suns played you pretty tough in that game despite them playing Spurs ball all game. Spurs didnt get 100 on them and the Suns hung in that game most of the way.
I haven't seen Amare or Marion defending Duncan lately, or being able to protect their own defensive board. It might not be 2005, but it's not far away either. And if you say they have Kurt Thomas now, well you know that D'Antoni barely wants to play him anyway because he does slow down the Suns and reduces their spacing. He made that mistake by overplaying Steven Hunter in 05.
no. GS maybe but a healthy rocket team is getting 2 wins from us. Houston 100% is going to win at least 2 games against anybody in a 7 game series.
