This kinda reminds me of when the Warriors beat the Spurs in 1992 (I think).
Dallas made a huge mistake in letting GS win last night. Had GS lost, then the Clippers would be their 1st round opponent, instead of GS. Dallas is 1-6 against GS since last year, so it only makes sense to avoid them in playoffs.

Your conference is weak and your team is weak. If not for a Dallas team that choked and your team getting some obvious help from the refs, you would have been swept.
What a ing joke. Dallas blowing a 2-0 lead and a late lead in game 3 still makes me laugh.
I know the head to head records of Dal/GS and how certain teams seem to match up with other teams, etc..
But I really don't think Dal cares who they play in the first round. GS may give them a run for their money in a couple of games but the Mavs should win in 5.
Nothing would've been decided had Dallas won last night...just like it's not decided now...
Let's not count last's night game...seriously. 1-5 with 3 of those losses being last second shots by the Warriors (including a 40 footer) and/or last second game winning misses by the Mavs after a hit by GS.
I wonder how the Mavs would deal with a game one loss to GS?
I remember how I felt when Stephon Marbury hit that game winner in the first game of the 03 playoffs.
They'd probably recover, but they should hide all the exercise bikes at the AA center, just in case.

Instead of using his starters against San Antonio--where the Mavs gain nothing--they should have used them on GSW because then they would have been assured to be matched up with the Clips instead of the only team that consistently beats the Mavs this year.
This was a really bonehead decision--absolutely stupid.
The Mavs should put their guys back in and make a comeback.
They can't.
They spent all their energy beating a Duncan-less Spurs team (while getting lucky the Spurs went cold for the last 6 and a half minutes without a single bucket).
