Do you agree that this looks fake?
NBA wont overturn the T, the backlash would be pretty bad. Admitting that a player got thrown out when he shouldn't have.
Do you agree that this looks fake?
Cuban will call the league and everyone else to make this happen. so it possibly will happen.
Well, something had to be done. Without some help, the Mavs might have actually gone to 0-6 in their last 6 playoff games. The league can't have a 67-win team suffering a fate like that.
The refs have now found their whistles on the Mavs with under 20 seconds to play. Hey, that PF column won't look so bad in the box score tomorrow

Aggie,
How much you wanna bet Mavs fan pulls that out tonight
"Well the foul calls were damn near eve, where do you get that bull "![]()
The cold fact remains that the refs wont let the Spurs beat the Mavs if they play again - just like last year
I'm only moderately surprised that Stackhouse didn't trip over his own words:
"We got back to getting the game called in our favor . . . er, playing our game . . . ."
Did he REALLY say that?
I think you're missing the bigger picture. The league doesn't even want us to play _allas. They want a Phoenix - _allas matchup.
No, but I'm only a bit surprised that he didn't slip and admit that.
Pathetic. ing pathetic.
And most pathetic of all is that the Mavs had maintained a small lead for sometime before the calls became so laughable and obvious. They were on pace to win. Now a whole lot of people are going to call it a fix and illegitimate.
They reversed that Finley technical last year that occured in the game we lost by 1 point. With apologies. They admitted that Duncan shouldn't have been tossed this year, and we all know that killed our chances to play LA (not that it was guaranteed before - but after that was mathematically impossible).
I'm just waiting to see Marc Cuban point out how lopsided and unfair and illegitimate all those calls were. You know he's fair and balanced like that, always willing to point out all the bad calls and hold refs accountable. Oh, wait. Right. The calls were for his team! Can't wait to hear about what a clear-headed, insightful referee Bennett Salvatorre is.
Another 2nd round jobbing coming this year - granted the Spurs make it past the 1st? That would be something crazy, because the Suns don't match up with the Spurs at all. It would probably take a lot of 4th quarter screwing to swing the tide to the Suns
Those ing Mav troll fans were blocking his way of leaving! I'm sure all of the Golden State Fans are writing in as well! I hate to see this kind of travesty happen! This just make the game look bad with these ing refs deciding who wins the game!![]()
Nellie saving himself from a major league fine . . . .
My advice to you my friend is to quit watching the playoffs at this juncture. Because what is going to happen next, if your words were true, will be unbearable for your body and soul to handle..
Mavs shoot 43 free throws in a must win game at home. Hmm, where have I seen that before?![]()
That's what happens when a team that does nothing but attack the basket plays a jump shooting team.
Or something like that . . . .
It was Steve Javie who tossed VanX
And you hate (or I do) to put it all on the refs and pull out about the conspiracy theories, but between last years Conf. Semis, last year's Finals, and tonight's utter bull . . . can you NOT wonder about it? Can you NOT think, what the is going on here?
Not really. I figured out a couple of years ago how the NBA works. If you expect to see your team get screwed, if the officiating is to the point that you can say 'the other team needs to win this game, I bet Bennett Salvatore or Bavetta will show up and hose the team that is up in the series', and then it happens, it doesn't hurt to watch.
If your team pulls it out, you know they did something special and pulled it out despite long odds.
Actually I'm pretty about the way tonight played out. One of the Mavs homer idiots that I work with got pissed at lunch today when I said the refs wouldn't let the Mavs lose tonight.
I bet him $20 that 1) the Mavs would shoot more than 30 FTs tonight and 2) Bennett Salvatore would call the game.
How ing sad and pathetic is this league that I can make a crazy bet like that with 100% confidence it will come true?
Wow, Nellie remarkably composed about it all in post-game. Still looks like he either got hit in the stomach or is still drunk and beginning a hangover, but that's nothing new.
