Please tell us how a spot 20 feet from the bench can be interpreted as the immediate vicinity of the bench without making us laugh.
o, he's a Phoneyix fan. Thinking they can win with that idiot of a coach is the definition of denying reality.

Depends on the situation.
What situations are described in the rule as written?
What did Amare and Diaw hope to accomplish by leaving the bench? Starting with Horry? That would have been even more detrimental to the situation.
Maybe they both were going to check on Nash. Maybe. But are they the team trainers as well as players? No, they are not.
I understand defending your teammates. But there were 4 other Suns on the floor for that. There was no reason for the two of them to leave the bench.
Do I agree with Horry doing what he did? No, I do not. But Amare and Diaw did nothing positive with their actions, either. Nothing good could have came from it.
The rule is simple. You leave the bench during an altercation, you get suspended. Either they didn't know, or they knew and didn't care.
Mr. Clinton? Bill? Is that you?
Somebody said rules are not sacred, but principles are. The principle of fairness with regard to this issue can be argued well both ways.
"20 feet away = immediate vicinity"
Make it your sig.
20 feet is your conclusion from faulty logic. Please by all means ...use it as yours.
Best seller in Phoenix right now
Piston fan must be scared about now.
Your drawers are full of taint.
It's easy to tell Amare was not going to check on Nash, just look at the direction he's walking.
And it's been well do ented that this rule is discussed with players every year before the season and again before the post season.
So basically, they both just had a brain fart.
It's irrelevant since apparently from interviews and everything I've seen, no one wants to change the rule except fans and "experts".
Personally, I always figured "Immediate vicinity of the bench" meant the length of the bench plus a few feet in each direction up to the out of bounds line.
but it might be nice to redefine that to something more solid (like bounded by the sideline hash and outh of bounds lines).
Interesting.
Dude.. not here man.
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
chump don't waste your time.
The guy is an idiot.
