chapparal is a roadrunner
Right. But in the spirit of correcting my question before jumping on people who didn't come up with my answer, I also posted this:
chapparal is a roadrunner
Alvin Robertson.
Here's another question: we probably all know the details of Sean Elliott's Memorial Day Miracle, but which player took the last shot in that game?
Wild-ass guess - Mario Elie.
It was a wild-ass shot, but it wasn't by Mario.
My final wild-ass guess - Jaren Jackson
Not Jaren, either.
as long as we're making wildass guesses...Rasheed Wallace?
Rasheed is a closer guess -- right team at least. But it's not him.
I remember it as being Jim Jackson.
It was a shot where they almost could have called a foul on a Spur (Sean?) but there was no way they were going to.
That's really close. Jackson had the second-to-last shot, and it was ahem "blocked" by a Spur.
By the way, the other HOF'er drafted by the Spurs organization was Bill Walton in 1972.
Tiny Archibald in 1970
Bill Walton in 1972
Robert Parish in 1975
(and likely David Robinson in 1987, and Tim Duncan in 1997).
Damon Stoudamire?![]()
Not Mighty Mouse, either.
I give up. I could keep guessing, but I'd just be naming off members of the 99 Blazers at this point.
Somebody take the batteries out of my buzzer.
The answer is the Wizard: Walt Williams.
From the wire story after that game:
Wire Story: Spurs 86, Blazers 85 (5/31/99)The shot brought the Spurs all the way back from an 18-point
second-half deficit and gave them their first lead of the game.
They made it stand up as Jimmy Jackson had a shot blocked and
Walt Williams missed a banker before time expired.
A full court shot that went in.
At last someone got it. Thanks for answering that question Jim, it had us stumped.
What college did Walt Williams play bball at?

I just got home and was reading this thread, I was not sure if anyone had already answered it, cause I have not gotten through all 6 pages. Thanks Whottt.
When was that that Moses played in SA, it seems like it was back in 94 or 95, right?
Yeah...I think so...
Seriously though...do you know what Piston hit Shaq in the balls?
2Pac asked the ing question and then left...no one has answered that one and my life has been on hold waiting for the answer...
Apparently, I am on Whottt's ignore list.
LOL you aren't on my ignore list...only bitter AJ fans are....
But I don't think Curley was the answer becausec 2Pac said the guy was crazy...
Are you right? I mean do you know that's the answer?
