LT can't help that his team is losing. Norv Turner is the worst coach in NFL history. There is only so much that L.T. can do.
kansas city
that's what you get for talking to THE DYNASTY.
there's nothing sweeter than seeing LT whining like a little every week. Has anyone ever gone from "nicest guy" to "biggest " as quickly as him?

looking back to his QB for the pass, for starters.
its not going to do much since he throws it to the opposing team every play.
The Patriots started out 1-3 in 2001, and ended up winning a Superbowl.
Actually they started 2-2... then won the Superbowl.
I was pretty sure it was 1-3. I didn't bother to check though.
Wrong, 1-3 as I said.

Whoops my bad, I misread you. I thought you said 2003.
two of those losses were in the BB age (Before Brady) so it doesn't apply. Unless the Chargers have a Quarterback Messiah sitting on their bench, they're ed.
I'm surprised you even watched them back then.
1-3 is not the end of the season, especially since the afc west seems weak. If they lose to the Broncos, the season is pretty much ed.
these chargers will turn it around, and probably make the playoffs. they're damn lucky the rest of their division is 2-2. but the fact remains that the san diego secondary is flat out awful. they cant stop the pass to save their lives.
I also believe they'll turn it around and its the reason I'm not panicking yet. The division is weak this year, thank god.
About the secondary.
Clinton Hart and Marlon McCree need to be benched.
I think Weddle, although a rookie, would make a much bigger impact back there and would put a stop to all the 30 yard slants being completed across the middle.
For as long as Jammer has played corner, you'd think the guy was a rookie. On the play where KC went across the middle for the TD, Jammer was right on his man and went for a swat instead of staying with the outside shoulder and having a chance to tackle him after it was completed.
With as many top picks the Chargers have used on their secondary, you'd think they'd be good by now. AJ Smith can not draft secondary.
I'm not panicking yet like most of the dumb Bronco fans who think our season is over. If we lose to the Chargers we will still probably be tied for first in our division. But of course I want a win and make the Chargers 1-4. We cant stop the run so I dont know how the we expect to stop LT. I hope Rivers decides to pass most the game.
3-2 going into the bye sounds good stuff.![]()
Pfffffffft.
Patriots:
Bill Bellichick - Head Coach
Tom Brady - QB
Charlie Weiss - Offensive Coordinator
Romeo Crenell - Defensive Coordinator
Chargers:
Norv "I impoded two teams" Turner - Head Coach
Phillip "I don't know which way is up" Rivers - QB
Ladanian Tomlinson - RB
Yea, I can really see the comparison there. Ladanian Tomlinson aside, the Chargers are nothing like the Patriots and to make that assumption is nothing short of brilliant stupidity.
I've never been a Patriot fan, but god damn, the comparison makes no sense at all.
Brilliant stupidity?
No where did I make the comparison of this years Chargers to the '01 Patriots, I just wanted to point out that 1-3 is not the end of the world. But lets talk about the Patriots.
You speak of Belichick as if he'd had success before '01, yet he sucked coaching the Browns. You speak of Brady as if he'd had success before '01, yet he'd never started before. Are you telling me that after the Patriots 1-3 start that you knew they'd be succesful because of all the Belichick/Brady factor when both were unproven?
Yeah, let's talk about BRILLIANT STUPIDITY.
C'mon peewee, explain to me about the great success Belichick had before coming to the Patriots.
I was basing it on your assumption that the Chargers have a chance of making it to the Super Bowl after a 1-3 start. As to Belichick, you're right, he sucked with the browns. But, he never had the talent that Norv has. You know that.
If you would have said something like, "there's still 3/4 of a season left" or "I still believe my team has a chance", I would've respected that. But, this talk about them still being able to make it to the Super Bowl???
Please.
Is this your version of![]()
?
My response regarding the Patriots starting 1-3 meant the season isn't over for the Chargers.
You trying to compare the Patriots of 2001 and the Chargers of 2007 just made you look brilliantly stupid.
Belichick '01 = Turner '07
Brady '01 = Rivers '07
Now we can look at what's has transpired since '01, but that doesn't work considering the point I was arguing.
Because the Patriots had high expectations to win the division and win the Superbowl going into the 2001 season.
Rivers isn't a pimple on Bradys ass.
Even if you were basing it off this your argument still doesn't have a leg.
Belichick was a loser up until that point, and Brady hadn't even started a game.
YeahEspecially after their stellar season the year before.
What was the Pats record in 2000?
I dont think it was that good.
I was only like 13 then though so I could be wrong.
But no body gave them a chance to win going into 2001.
A lot of people said the Chargers would be Superbowl Bound.
The Patriots record was ty.
A lot of people said the Chargers would be Superbowl bound before the entire coaching staff was turned over, myself included.
