No one is saying that racism doesn't exist, it does and not just toward black people. I would even say that there is still plenty of overt racism as well. They didn't go after Vick just because he is black, they are going after him because he could be involved in all this.
Personally I feel that Vick is guilty of one of the following:
Either he was involved in all this
or
He was not directly involved with this but knew about what was going on.
or
He did not have any idea what was going on at his property which, while not criminal, is just plain stupid.
If you are going to let people use your land and house, you better damn sure know what is going on just for this reason.

If you had roadkill on your street during the early 90's, it may have been me and my friends. In 99, I was working an extra job as a pizza delivery driver. One night I was jumped by two hispanic guys. Did they jump me because I was white? No. Did they jump me because they were hispanic? no. The only color involved was green. I had money, they wanted it.

I will ask you this...if Vick is exonerated of these charges...I will be one of the first here to say we should move forward. If he is proven guilty, will you be one of the first to say he should be punished?

I never claimed to know whether he was innocent or guilty, I wasn't there so how the should I know? I was basically saying that he should at least be given a chance without people throwing him to the gas chamber without a trial or hearing his side.
