Before I debunk it? Did you ride in a plane and parachute in the middle of the jungle to get to the resort, like Bear, or did you land in an airport and drive to it?
I searched the Wikipedia main article:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Man_vs._Wild and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_Grylls
But nowhere did I find your excerpt.
Oh and about the raft it says: ACCORDING to Mark Wienart the raft was built by him (Mark Wienart) and he was hired for it.
But ACCORDING to me, I built it. Once again this thread is based on assumptions.
That's dumb logic:
The guy has no military experience, because he never fought in a war, so his training doesn't really matter.

I didn't say I went on survivor trip. I said that I stayed at a condo in the jungle, drove in a jeep 20 minutes away to a stable where I got on a horse and went on and all day horseback riding trip into the rainforest.
You, on the other hand, said there's no resorts in the Costa Rican rainforest.
that was pure idiotic
get a life
I'm glad you thought so, now can you see how stupid you look when you do the same thing?
And by the way, it would actually be "that was purely idiotic".ing re .
Nice, people arguing about the samething we are.
Wait remind me why those 'discussions' aren't in the main article and in the discussion section?
Because the main article is what counts and only real facts are in it.......that's why the main article is LOCKED and can't be edited, only by Admins of Wikipedia who've verified what can be placed.
This is boring I'm wasting my day off talking about some guy I don't even know.
And Kori what was the resort you stayed in yourself.
Anyway, you guys can keep watching it and believing the guy sleeps on the ground when the camera turns off and is really doing a lot of dangerous activities. And I'll not watch it and believe that a big part of it is staged.
I am getting a total kick out of reading this thread. E20 thinks Bear is God, and the rest just want to show that while Bear does have some survival skills, the situations aren't nearly as difficult or life threatening as they seem to be.
It is not locked, and is only semi-protected, meaning.............in order to edit it, all you have to do is have a certain number of posts on wikipedia. But I also asked you the same question, why are you defending some guy you don't know?
If he truly believes that........where does that leave Stallone?
I didn't say, I thought they're weren't, but I guess I was wrong. I thought rain forests were perserved because there is less and less of rainforests....so I thought it would illegal to build a resort inside a rainforest.
But, still you're assuming Bear pinpointed a resort and landed a mile away from it.
That's all I ask from TSA, but he keeps on talking to me.
A) It says "Protection is not an endorsement of the current version (protection log). Please discuss changes on the talk page or request unprotection. You may use {{editprotected}} on the talk page to ask for an administrator to make an edit for you."
B) It bugs me personally when people with experience and credentials and have done excellent feats, in Bear's case Climb Everest and the Himalays and drink Elephant Poo and people overlook that and say anybody can do what he does, because he has a camera crew and he is fake.
turn off your computer and walk away.
All I've said throughout this entire thread is that he has a camera crew with him. Never said he didn't climb Everest, never tried to make it sound like he didn't climb Everest.
Buddy, I think everybody on this board, except the poster Gopher, would die in the african savanah or the Moab desert if they were stranded. The heat was even displayd on camera -- he cooked an Egg on the ground that's how hot it was. And I guess everybody would know to drink water out of a rock cave and which plants to eat and how to avoid all those animals.
I stayed in a managed set of individual condos that is located next to this resort ... http://www.sicomono.com/ I tried to find a link to the condos, but I can't find it (it was six years ago). But it was very nice. It was a private condo nestled in the jungle with a huge deck over looking the ocean view. Monkeys and other animals were everywhere.
I'm not saying that Costa Rica isn't wild. I went horseback riding four hours deep into the rainforest and it was very wild.
I'm just saying that it's not impossible that he just got up off the ground when the camera turned off, got in a jeep and went 20 minutes back to a luxury hotel.
You have said that he is fake and his military experience isn't valid, he doesn't really do those things/he can't do those things. That's basically giving the middle finger to his credentials.
That's where we differ, he says he has a two man camera crew with him and that's it. I choose to believe that, he sounds like a guy you can believe.

I quit, you guys win.
Bear Grylls is a 4 foot fake who can't even breath w/o an oxygen tank.
There is no Stallone, but Stallone and Pauly is his messanger.
Les Stroud, I wanna nail his ass to the cross.
I'm gonna go make love to my hand now.
Nah, I just posted what I found on wikipedia. You are getting too worked up over this. I'd recommend a cold shower and a viewing of Rocky IV
You posted a discussion..........that's really something...![]()
