don't forget, 2006 raja bell went out in the WCSF series with a torn calf muscle.
Was this necessary?

He missed two games.
I just really want to see SpursDynasty define the word "win".
Win (n. or v.) - 1. Something the Spurs do / 2. Something other teams do ONLY when the Spurs don't feel like it that particular night.
I really want to steal $100 away from you in a bet the Spurs don't reach 65 wins next season.

If the Spurs don't win 65 games next year, then it's because of a fluke and thus you cannot collect on it.
LOL...
What would you have called it if the Spurs had won in OT???![]()
Then the Spurs would've just been doing what they're supposed to do.
and in the games he played he was about as useful as kobe bryant's teammates.
Your original contention was that Dirk put up a fifty spot because of Amare out and Raja out/ineffective. Neither one of those guys can guard Dirk. Raja is two-guard and Amare is about as effective as a matador when it comes to "guarding" opposing players.
It was Mr. Defense Marion that got lit up.
Actually, there was some merit in that criticism/analysis. The 1999 and 2003 Spurs teams had some overlap with the starters, but those were two entirely different benches (other than Kerr). The Spurs did get younger in the interval.
I think the Mavs could win if they had the Holy Grail: a reliable low post scorer. However, how many teams in the league could say the same thing?
The Mavs are an elite team, but stuff happens. Look at the Pacers. Who really thought that they could go from a perennial EC contender to perhaps the worst team in the league in only two seasons? Sure, you might say that this is a bad example, given the cir stances (Auburn Hills brawl, Miller retires, "whitewashing" the team, etc.), but catastrophic injuries aren't anomalies. They can happen at any time in any game.
From what I can tell, Cuban is not adverse to spending over the cap, and Finley's salary drops off his books after next season. The Mavs need at least one more piece, and I think they are capable of winning it all with a premier lows post scorer. They need to act quickly, becuase it seems like the window is ALWAYS smaller than we think it will be.
