Why couldn't Gonzales simply answer the questions he was asked?

I don't know for sure. I do know some of it has with not being required to share information between the branches of government. This is an investigation that should have never happened. If you ask me, the administration is at fault for allowing the dog and pony show.

And really, he couldn't do his job because he had to testify to congress a couple of days more than the usual AG has had to? Is he really that incompetent?

What about the time it takes to review notes and prepare in other ways? You think that's not required?
