When did we declare war?When did he say we won the war?
dubya's flyboy-wannabe Mission Accomplished theatrical farce was clearly meant to convey the message that the completion of "major combat operations" equaled "dubya won the Iraq war" and deserved to be re-elected as a victorious warrior 6 months later. The scheduling of the Iraq invasion as the "only and immediate option" was clearly done with the presidential campaign in mind.

Why does that matter? That's a formality. It is a war, and the president never said it was won yet.
Yeah, the people and their representatives are formalities too, I suppose.

OK, I will make an assumption, and I don't like doing that. I assume you mean that congress has not declared a war. So what. It is not congress' job to protect and use the military, that is the job of the Commander in Chief.
Ask yourself this. Where is it required that a war be declared? Like I said, it is a formality. Just because a war is not declared does not mean it isn't a valid war.
Again... What article of the cons ution requires that a war be declared?

actual soldiers in the green zone are known to have different views campared to soldiers outside the green zone.
