Seventh inning is quite a bit different than the 13th inning wouldn't you agree?

All said, this loss is squarely on Hoffman..............I'm just bummed to see it end on a bogus call.

I want either the diamondbacks or the rockies to face the yankees in the ws
    with yankees losing

IT would be funny to have the yankees lose to the 2 expansion teams in the ws

Sure, and a two run lead is different than a one one run lead.

Still, it does suck when the final play is a blown call.

That's all I'm really saying. To see our star player basically get his ACL blown by an ump, and then have to deal with this makes me want to never watch an umped game again.

so it was the ump fault he lost his temper and charged the ump and made his manager tackle his player?

Esentially...........yes. How many other times has an ump instigated a player to that extent?

Back to the topic: Can't put this loss on Peavy after his team rallied back on the road in Colorado and had the Padres up by two. Ducks, I've always cut you slack because you rooted for the Chargers, but I'm beginning to see why everyone else on this site calls you a ing re .

    That's on you.

He roots for the Spurs, too, and we didn't wait nearly this long to figure that out.

I do not mind the padress but I wanted a competivate series and rockies will give the phillies a more competivate series

peavy pitched by far his worse outing against the rockies in his life he is part of the team and part of the reason they lost
this loss is not all on hoffman

    Was that not him pitching?
Are closers supposed to have a three run cushion before it becomes their fault?
Did he also not blow the game against the Brewers?
Hoffman sure has been the man this year when it counts.

    Quit your ing ing.
What about that HR by the Rockies that would have made it 7-5? but the Umps ed it up.

Either way Hoffman would have got the final out.
Its not like that was the tying run and you would have still won.

At worse it would have went to extras but the Umps ed up that HR call so they made up for it.

The umps had a meeting and decided it wasn't a homerun.
There was no meeting for the "final game deciding call of the ing game that went 13 ing innings".

I watched the replay of the ball that wasn't called a homerun, nothing led me to believe their call was wrong...................unless of course you bought the interview of the 400 pound season ticket holder lady who was brought to her seat in a wheelchair.

LMAO @ the 400 pound season ticket holder.

Then it would have just been 2 outs and a runner on 2nd Tied at 8.
The game would have just went on longer and Rockies would have still won. :

But thats not the only bad call in the game. It all somewhat evened out.

    But its football time Saniety.
Time to watch your dominating Chargers get to work.

I would think Adrian Gonzalez is more of a star player than Milton Bradley.

But had Bradley shown more restraint he would've been there.

Yes the ump was at fault, but Bradley should've held back.

Hard I know, still, you gotta hold it together a tad better...

    Your a ing Piece of

    Just playing.
I agree with that on Milton.
That was BS but funny at the same time.

I like to provoke people though

but for an Ump to do that is unprofresional and he should be fired.
