Well, the Mavs did some flopping tonight and got some extra points off those flops, I think Phoenix deserved to win this game.

The Spurs still hold the West's best record and no one can take that from them.

Mavs fans, we have found the great equalizer against the Sun -

Notice that in crunch time, he was out and Vagina Dampier was in. No wonder the Suns came back.
I thought Damp played pretty well the whole game. Just don't pass it to him in the crunch.

Bass didn't play much but we looked really good when he was in. I think he'll be the guy who puts us over the top against teams like PHX and GS.

Now if we can get Dirk to make all his mother in free throws in crunch time...

Define healthy? Because they come at us with a different roster every year
Amare in the lineup. Suns with Amare/Nash/Marion all on the same court in a 7 game series are 4-2 against the Mavs. We were nearly pushed to a 7th game against an undermanned suns team in 2006. This team KNOWS they can beat us. They arent scared of us because they can score any basket they want on us especially in crunch time. No way we beat them playing them that exact type of style. If all their guys are producing...we cant/wont beat them in a series. The Suns are just too good to lose that kind of style.

Says the man whose team got the L tonight. So how bout you get the out, loser.
The Suns definitely would have won if Brandon Bass hadn't racked up 6 points, 2 rebounds, and only 2 TO's. A dominant performance.

The Suns lost because they gave up 19 offensive rebounds and decided not to play any defense in the 1st quarter.

oh please....every team has their flopping in a game.....a spurs fan ESPECIALLY knows this....

don't make the final score come down to "flopping" or "play calling" at the 5 minute mark in the 3rd quarter

If Dirk's nuts shrink when he has to see Stephen Jackson, Bass wont make a god damn difference. Our success depends on Dirks heart and testicles. If that isnt there...none of the rest will matter.

When Devin was out that is when the Suns made their run, including all of the turnovers. What is with all of the hostility towards Damp?

GOD DAMN IT! I have never been this pissed off after a win. I am just fed up against teams getting what they want on us. Especially someone like the Suns. You wont beat them if you cant contain their offense on a consistent basis especially in crunch time.

6 points was the difference between winning and losing. Loser.
By that logic, anyone who scored more than 3 points was "the difference."

Dampier had 8 points, 10 rebounds (5 offensive), 5 blocks, and 2 steals. He had a nice game, just like he always does against Amare.

DAntoni looked like he was going to have a heartattack several times...haha. Nash was amazing, didn't miss anything and you could tell how instantly the offense sparked up with him. Devin did a good job. Dirk showed some balls. Erica Dampier vs. Amare was funny. Entertaining game, can't really tell who has the edge over who, between those two every time there's a lead, you can guarantee within the next 2 minutes the other team will make a run and make it close.

who cares, if amare was in then diaw wouldn't get that many points and experience through the whole season and playoffs

Actually, mono, by that logic, anyone who scored any points was "the difference."

You have to be the most fairweather Mavs fan on this board. When the Mavs are losing, you lose complete faith in them. "Trade Dirk!" Now suddenly Brandon Bass is the difference that will take you to a championship. You're a flake and your arguments are based on a game-by-game basis rather than a macroscopic perspective.

Erick Dampier in sucks, always has and always will. He put up a decent game, but any way you look at it, this team is better off with LESS DAMPIER.

The reason he probably missed the pass is because he probably thinks just like us that people would know not to pass it to him inside two minutes. He was just as shocked as we were to get the ball.
