The Pats are one Adam Vinatieri away from being the Bills of the 2000s.
Dude you are ing stupid. The Colts are closer to what the Bills were than the Pats.

Dude the Pats without Adam Vinatieri don't even win one Super Bowl. Go yourself.

How are the Colts close to being the Bills... 90s Bills went to the SB four times and lost all of them. . .

That doesn't say much for the Colts, who were owned by those Patriots in the playoffs for several of those Super Bowl runs.

That's true. The 90's Bills made it to more than just one. I guess I should say the Colts are more like the 2000 Ravens.

He was probably a Pats fan back then since they were winning.

More like you should have said the Pats are a bunch of arrogant, cheating, overrated sons of es that don't deserve and took way longer to break the records they did than the people who set them before they did.

Colts going to lay some wood on that ass in a few weeks.

The comparison to the Bills is also based entirely on assumptions.

In Super Bowl XXXVI against the Rams, the Patriots were looking, at worst, at overtime in the end game -- who's to say that they wouldn't have won the game in OT? The exact same fact is true with Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Panthers.

Similarly, in Super Bowl XXXIX against the Eagles, the Pats were up 10 late in the 4th when the Eagles scored to make it a 3 point game. It's not as if Vinatieri, for all that he did for the Pats during his tenure there, made an end-game FG to give them the winning margin -- Vinatieri's FG came with more than 8 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

Did Vinatieri make a huge difference for the Patriots in winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years? Absolutely. Was his presence the only reason for those wins? Absolutely not.

I was trying to be a good person.
As much as it sucks, it is what it is. They did win all of their games. Can't take that away from them.
But yeah. There's a lump in my throat. I think I might

Props to the Pats. It's really an amazing feat that they pulled off!
