It seems like it would be strange to meet someone from Spurstalk...i'm not sure if that's just because i dont live in SA. I do frequently fly down to SA for games though.

It's a little weird at first. But it's just like meeting any group of people really. You should meet people from the forum next time you are in S.A. I lived in Los Angeles when I started meeting Spurs fans in San Antonio (that was back when we were all on SpursReport).

It's acually pretty cool...you instantly have something in common because of the Spurs...it's like this unseen bond or something. It's cool.

I enjoy GTG's with other SpurFans more than any other types of parties I've gone to.

I've met them twice (all during half time during Spurs home games)...

They're really quite nice. But yes, I would agree that timvp was quiet, other than "hi" I don't think he said another word (plus it didn't help that the Spurs were losing against the Mavs).

I go to School in TN, I Flew down and watched the Spurs play the Raptors and the Grizz in early January. Not sure when i'll be down again, i always try to make a couple playoff games, especially the finals.

Sometimes we meet up after home games. A lot of times we have parties at our house or at sports bars for road games.

I've talked about this with just about everyone....you are the person that most comes off in person exactly the way you do on the forum...there's pretty much 100% agreement on that.

I really think a lot of people act the same. There are a lot that act different but I think most of the old school people pretty much act the same.
