I am no singer, so I am not sure what its called, but it has something to do with actually being able to hold a note thereby not having to rhyme at all.
But this is a rap thread. Ability to hold notes need not apply, well, certainly not mandatory.
SIDE NOTE:
Some white kids from my childhood days are "rappers" now. They do shows, cut albums, what not. The one dude was my best friend for my entire youth, sent me his new CD.
I dont like any new rap, so Im not one to judge. But it sounds "good" for one person doing everything, from the best, to the lyrics, editing, etc.
It sounds more old school and a little like Outkasts in that it actually trys to be musical, or at least give the illusion.
