Have had my PS3 for awhile but just purchased my first 2 BD - Coraline and Star Trek.
Oh yeah, they look great. These films were initially filmed in high quality, so the transfer is just fine.

I just picked up the T2: Skynet Edition from Costco for $8.99 yesterday. Can't believe it was so cheap.
We bought Spartacus: Blood and Sand on Blu-Ray for the special features - the damn things won't play! All of the episodes go off without a hitch, but the extras just don't work.
As some of the others in here have said, I play a lot of rips through my PS3 media server on both my laptop and desktop. I can stream 720p from my laptop easily but for anything higher I'm better off using the desktop for the wired connection.
Damn, that Grindhouse Collector's set is looking tempting, but I'm feeling cheap this month. Maybe after I get Gran Turismo 5.
The Complete Deadwood Series is coming to Blu in November. I'm tempted, but I have no idea why HBO hasn't kept the ball rolling w/ the Sopranos BDs. Season 1 & 6 on Blu, but nothing else? Tha , HBO?!
I ordered Life (David Attenborough commentary, not mutha in' Oprah) for $20 a couple of weeks back. I should be shipping out soon.
I'm sure there's gonna be a load of Blu-Ray deals in the next 2 weeks.
Good job. The Attenborough version was SO much better. I watched one episode with her and downloaded the rest in the BBC versions.
just watched clash of the ans. Baddass in blu ray
Watchin Mad Men season 2 on Blu.
I still think the District 9 was the best on the blu-ray in my collection. However, the Menace II Society blu-ray was a great copy on my PS3 and flatscreen. Can't wait until Boyz N The Hood goes down in price lol.
crank is the best video quality Ive seen on bluray
You're going to LOVE that. Got the Davey A. one as well on Blu (actually had to pay extra for it, but it was money well spent).
this thread is going to be hilarious in 5-10 years
The only online ordering I have done was with walmart.com. Don't knock it Walmart haters.... They have a great online selection, ship it to the store of your choice, and no shipping fee.
Nice option, and good prices.
What do you own on CDC?
(Crystal Data Cube)
How can you not be a troll?
Why would a nice selection be reason for Walmart haters to not knock shopping at Walmart? I'm pretty sure none of the complaints about Walmart's business model have to do with it being expensive and inconvenient.
The Incredibles coming to Blu-ray April 12th. A ways away, admittedly, but that should be fantastic.
$45.99 retail, though. Jesus.

Might get soon: The Town, Gladiator, Die Hard, LOTR Trilogy (not sure, though)...
For me it has to make sense. Any non-action film is just fine on DVD.
I would wait until they release the LOTR extended editions on bluray before getting that.
the town is going to be 13.99 this week at best buy
