Watched the Okur offensive board on Sportscenter just now, looked like Landry was in position for the board, but T-Mac unnecessarily tipped the ball on to the backboard, and it came straight to Okur. Basically T-Mac stunk up the joint today. I know its not his fault that he's banged up and his team is undermanned and weary, but the bad shot selection, missed FTs in the 4th and that last bonehead play were all mental errors.

The Lakers could very well sweep UTAH. I would be very surprised if the series went to 6-7 games. UTAH has been very unimpressive so far.

HOU, on the other hand, has shown all heart and impressed the out of me. If Yao and Tmac can be healthy for the playoffs next season they are going to be one tough out.

no, it will be adelman's second yr with them......if they implode before the second round next year for whatever reason.....health or otherwise......then tmac could be moved.......but I give it 5% chance.

Trade Yao will NEVER happen because Yao brings billions of dollars to the team. other players will go on strike if Yao were traded because everyone from Chuck Hayes to Shane Battier to Coach Adelman got shoe deals from Chinese brand footwear.

Trade TMac will not happen under most cir stances because:
if hes healthy, we dont want to trade him
if hes NOT healthy, no one wants to touch his monsterous contract

so we are do or die for the next 3 years with TMac and Yao

I hope you know that MJ was in the playoffs the second year the Rockets won the championship. He played almost half a season. He got lost to Shaq in the Magic. Another thing, the Rockets played in the West, Bulls in the East. What the does MJ being there or not have to do with anything?

It's easy to get assts. when you hogg the ball so much, and with his sizes and the minutes he plays he better get rebounds.
And don't get me wrong I'm not questioning his desire I'm questioning his BB IQ, the decisions that he takes on the BB court hurt his team. He could go off one night and look like the 2nd coming of Jesus (A.K.A: Michael Jordan), but in the long run he'll never be an efficient player.

P.S: How come that every time he gets brush he looks like a guy that's just been run over by a truck.

What leverage does he have to demand a trade? He is always hurt, overpaid, lazy, and the worst guy to depend on in the clutch. I have been a big supporter of Mcgrady but for almost one third of the salary cap he should be showing a little more heart than he does. Last night was one of those nights I wished he was traded. His pussy was on fire for the entire game, but 1-1 in the fourth quarter broke the camels back. He has a nasty habit of finding ways of not getting the ball in crunch time and I'm getting tired of that soft . The Rockets can win with him, but he should never be a leader or the man to depend on in the clutch. He's just not man enough for that role.

Freaking Rockets! Arghh. They put in a gritty effort but there was no reason to be down by 16 pts and have to make that comeback. Oh well, losing 26 pts and 10 rebounds a game from Yao is huge.

You're right. We've looked like for 4 straight games YET we still have a 3-1 series lead and should've won game 3. We're playing the worst basketball of the season since the month of December yet we continue to find a way to win.

You're crazy though if you think the Lakers will sweep us based on the way we're playing in the Houston series. 2 totally different teams. Houston is ALL about defense and finding ways to score against them has been extremely hard. I don't worry at all about the Lakers defense. Scoring against the Lakers will be a lot easier than it has been against Houston.

I wouldn't favor us in a series against LA, but to think you'll sweep us is just an arrogant POV. Let me remind you that it's the same POV 99% of the Jazz fans felt about Houston, and we were as wrong as you can get. Playoff basketball is much different than the regular season.
