Come on, that is massive hyperbole. In 2004 we actually looked like we could go all the way, when did we ever look like that this season (apart from a couple of games in the Dallas series)?
This season we were beaten up, looked old and slow, lacked chemistry and consistency, and lost the cornerstone of our championship run - lock down defence. All the signs were there to suggest we'd lose in the first or second round.
This feels nothing near as bad as 2004 or 2006, or 2000-2 for that matter.
