Falling to a team with a bigger budget, or that is willing to pay more than slot $. Scare off the Oakland A's and Florida Marlins of the baseball world so that the Red Sox or Yankees can draft him.

Rangers #4, Boston #7, Cubs #9, Philly #10, Yankees #16. Plenty of big market teams drafting early so I doubt that is the reasoning. I honestly believe he wants to go to ATM and play both sports. Then again, it sports and $, so the who really knows..

Alterique Gilbert, one of the best point guards in the 2016 class, told Scout that he narrowed his list of colleges down to Connecticut, Illinois, Louisville, Syracuse and Texas on Wednesday.

Texas: “I like Texas. What I like is coach Smart. He was at VCU. I’m from Richmond, Virginia. I watched them play this past season and I like their style of play. I’m just not really sure about him going to Texas and if he’s going to change his style of play. So I’m looking into that.”
