3/5 of that OL is now gone (James, Harrison, Hammad).
Only Perkins and Raulerson are left.
24/7 saying Coach Robinson was in Kingwood today to see ATH Sewo Olonilua.
playblair-
I got your message about the link fix and I'll take care of it.
I didn't know you hit me up, so sorry about that.
Texas was by Permian High School yesterday to see CB Desmon Smith, per 24/7.

I hadn't heard of him, but I like his tape.
QB Tristen Wallace of DeSoto reached out to Scout yesterday to let them know UT stopped by his practice.
He was scheduled to speak with the staff last night.
You can't "opt out" of the draft, but this one may be interesting after all:
You cant opt out, but what you can do is simply tell clubs you well not be signing with any teams who draft him. Almost a courtesy to mlb so that an early pick is not wasted...
Part of me wonders if it's a genuine move because he's rehabbing that shoulder injury.
Part of me wonders if it's a leverage tactic knowing his uncle, Calvin, works for Scott Boras. See below:
leveraging for what? Not sure how this would help his draft position.
Falling to a team with a bigger budget, or that is willing to pay more than slot $. Scare off the Oakland A's and Florida Marlins of the baseball world so that the Red Sox or Yankees can draft him.
Rangers #4, Boston #7, Cubs #9, Philly #10, Yankees #16. Plenty of big market teams drafting early so I doubt that is the reasoning. I honestly believe he wants to go to ATM and play both sports. Then again, it sports and $, so the who really knows..
There's another report saying he's making himself ineligible by not drug testing and submitting medical history.
If that's the case, he's definitely going to college.
Coach Traylor saw this kid the other day:

Alabama offered 2017 DE LaGaryonn Carson right after Texas.
By the way, he is the cousin of A&M RB Tra Carson.

Alterique Gilbert, one of the best point guards in the 2016 class, told Scout that he narrowed his list of colleges down to Connecticut, Illinois, Louisville, Syracuse and Texas on Wednesday.http://scouthoops.scout.com/story/15...s-to-five?s=75Texas: “I like Texas. What I like is coach Smart. He was at VCU. I’m from Richmond, Virginia. I watched them play this past season and I like their style of play. I’m just not really sure about him going to Texas and if he’s going to change his style of play. So I’m looking into that.”
hamiltonESPN: #ESPN100 No. 48 Tevin Mack (@sl0wbucks) will be making an unofficial visit to #Texas #Longhorns this weekend. @ESPNRNHoops
More notes from the road (24/7):
-Coach Traylor was in Athens to watch CB Travon Fuller who is currently committed to A&M.
-Coach Robinson was at Katy Taylor to see 2018 DE Max Wright, who already holds offers from Duke and Georgia.
-UT went to Bellaire Episcopal to see OL Gio Pancotti, 2017 OL Walker Little and 2017 DT Marvin Wilson.
-the staff also saw RB Kyle Porter of Katy.
Per 24/7, Coach Bedford was in Refugio today to see 2017 ATH Jaylon Mascorro.
He should be at UT's QB camp this summer.
