I don't think Murray plays winning ball. People ing all over him and ting on Simmons have short memories. I'm not giving up on Dejounte, obviously. But right now, he's a ball hog who can't defend to save his life.

Nice shot and all, but you can't allow a layup like that at the basket. Anderson has to show harder than that to allow his man to recover. Lazy, just lazy.
Lazy. Perfect word to describe Kyle's game

I don't understand how Murray didn't get the ball the last 2 possessions.

Don't know why they kept going to Simmons. was annoying. He was awful. Also let some other guys get some end of game experience.

of a shot by Rosier. The foul didn't matter.

Anderson's game is so interesting. Whatever he did before Summer League is working.

Murray looked really really good. Wow.

    Simmons had an awful game.

Arci and Forbes didn't play all that well either. Tough game for anyone outside of KA and Murray

I think he's a tradeable asset - maybe not for much, but I think we can do better than just waive him.
No I mean off the summer league team so other guys can get touches. I definiely want him on the regular season roster

Simmons is cheap but really i don't see much upside left, tbh...Dude will be 27 by start of next season..i would rather lose with Murray making a mess of his minutes rather than Jonathan doing the same....

Simmons was the last guy that deserved that shot
I don't like whatever Will Hardy drew up there. They almost TO inbounding the ball to start. Then an iso for Simmons at the top... He's not even a lethal midrange jumpshooter.

Damn I leave the house for a couple of hours and come back to find y'all in bed with an 18 year old.

he was impressive. I think Spurs have found another gem; obviously it's premature but he's got game.

Want to cut a guy who just scored 35, and then want to start a PG who isn't a point guard at all. Lol arm chair coaches

This. It'll take Murray a year to be as good as Simmons is at now (his likely peak).

I agree. Right now they are basically the same, except one will be 20 to start the season and the other 27. They both like to slash, might be risky defensively and risky with a TO too. But the rookie is bound to get better, the other will stay the same.

Yeah, I watched this game mainly to see him, Lorbek (not much), and Murray. Still the form is nice. Law of big numbers, I guess.

Basically this. He'll be reigned in or sit on the bench. He has a park game. Obvious talent though

Outside of a couple jumpers, I thought he went with the flow and attacked the basket efficiently. Defense definitely needs work, I agree.

I think Dijon's skill set renders Simmons expendable, and I think we could sell high this off-season.
