So did I, but that was before Tony and Kawhi got injured. So, I am completely overwhelmed that we won at all.

Good again dabom
Had to miss the game, but watching it now on the DVR
The real reason I think the Spurs won, and by such a huge margin, was that they expected to lose tonight. Pop probably told them: no Kawhi, no TP, just go out there and play good D and see if the offense comes to you. The Spurs played so loose, it worked out great in the end. No nervousness, no expectations.
one of the best fans on ST, tbh..
"We should have won that game,” Rockets forward Ryan Anderson said of the overtime loss to the Spurs in game five. ” Yeah that kind of was a little jab. We still feel like we’re the better team. When we play the way we want to play and we know we can play we feel like we’re better than them. It’s just tough to see them going to the next round and we didn’t bring it all tonight.”
ing Ryan Anderson, all talk when you the bed really bad. off.
Love the picture![]()
They lost 7 out of 10 games to the Spurs this year. Some really close games and in a couple the Spurs seemed to have pulled victory out of the jaws of defeat, but still you can't claim to be better when you lose 70% of your games against a team.![]()
oh my god! I will drink several shots of whiskey for this team and hopefully with all the spurs fans worldwide. we've been waiting for those gsw 3pointlovers for too long!
Well you know through your conversations with me that I did expect this. I'm not a physic and I didn't know exactly how it would happen but I've been pretty consistent in my talking sense into posters about the quality of the team in SA.
My belief mostly came in the form of seeing players do good things even when others were non-stop
griping about them and bringing up things like contracts which once paid have nothing to do with on court productions.
That's not to say they are dumb conversations to have and that there is not a time and place for them; but it clouded many people's judgement. Saying things like SA would lose to POR, MEM, etc.
I guess my point was people were so loud and vocal about all the Spurs flaws while ignoring these 2 FACTS:
1. Every single team outside of GS has flaws and most of them are far worse than SAs.
2. Despite those flaws (TP to old, can't win in PO with LMA being so highly paid, guard play is terrible, coaching, etc...) SA kept winning. People just kept ignoring results.
Rockets FG 29% and at home, in the playoffs. How weird is that?
...and the Based God Curse continues...
MVP chants after last night's performance lol
Exactly! Kind of the way the next series presents itself. No one expects us to win. No pressure on us..none.
Precisely. It's nice to be the hunters instead of the hunted.
Game 6 and the exact same margin of victory, too.
