Portugal is a nice outsider but for me at this point CR7 is more a liability than a plus

Brazil depends a lot of Neymar, it has been a long time they don’t have such quality player. Some teams will also switch the turbo in elimination. It’s hard to judge by group phase.

imagine talking about easy routes when Portugal 2016 was the jammiest NT winner of the last 25 years. Wales in a semi final FFS, and a dire Poland team before it. Pepe was their best player that tourney, much like mascherano in 2014 for Argentina. Ronaldo got CARRIED in that final when he couldn't even play. When does play till the end they get knocked out by Uruguay.

I do agree, if Argentina don't make the semi finals it'll be a choke job. Spain, Brazil or France will beat them in the semis.

2016 Polska was solid. Beat Ukraine, Switzerland, and outplayed SemiFinal Germany in a draw.

They were never behind in the entire Tournament...5 matches

I'm was rooting for Germany(and Spain) to miss the knockout stage. So I really don't mind the call too much.

That's not how it works, though. It doesn't matter if the bottom part of the ball is completely outside of the pitch, if any part of the cir ference of the ball is inside the pitch, the ball is in play. On that aerial shot, you can see that the ball didn't leave the field on its entirety.
