I'm thinking that perhaps "The Sand Pebbles" was a better performance for Steve McQueen as opposed to "The Great Escape".
The only part that hangs in my memory is him jumping that fence on the bike...... very cool stunt......

I can't believe Goodfellas got voted off as soon as it did. Anyone who gave it the ax obviously never saw it. It blows all those other movies away and was easily the best flick of the 90s. Way better than any of the Godfathers IMO

better than godfather?...yes. but better, as a guy movie, than the good, the bad, and the ugly?...i don't think so. like i said before, i wanted Dirty Harry, TGTBTU, or The Wild Bunch to win.
