I have been telling Midge for ages he needs to freelance. I helped him get started but I think Kori will give him the kick in the ass he needs. Good job, Kori! It would be nice if one day he could freelance f/t and quit his day job, since he seems to hate it so much.

Speaking of writing, I have to finish my column that is due today. I need like five more high-paying markets to list with it. The high-paying pickens have been slim the last two weeks. Damn cheap editors.

Sorry for butting in but thanks for posting those links. I write a lot, mostly for myself but have often thought about submitting stuff to editors just to see what happens. Although I'm not too good at rejection.

These are for all actual magazines looking for freelance submissions. They pay anywhere from $50-$1000+ per article. Some pay per word, some pay flat rate. You have to read all the guidelines yourself. I included everything from creative writing to news to humor to sports to politics.
