Actually, no, since the 6-minute mark we've played 4 down once or twice, the rest have been high or side picknrolls.

4-down is fine, but once every 3 or 4 plays only - the rest should be picknrolls or motion.

Manu at the line, and Fisher's idiocy, and hard D/boardwork is what saved this game.

I stand by my statement Ruff. I'm really not suprised that many people here don't get it.

The Jazz cut the lead in the 3rd entirely on emotion built on one play (the Boozer block). A steady diet of halfcourt four down that drew fouls early in the four completely stemmed the tide and allowed the Spurs to regain control.

It doesn't suprise me you don't realize how or why four down won this game.

You're right, Tim's 26 turnovers obviously won the game for us.

It doesn't surprise me that you don't realize how we won games 1 and 2. Namely, a second quarter full of ball movement, cutting to the basket, and getting people other than Tim and Tony involved in the offense.

Oh, and that happens to be the same thing that won the game for us tonight - putting the ball in Manu's hands and tearing them up with the side pick and roll.

Okur gets his 6th! I agree it was a poorly called game, but I don't think it was called poorly in a way that favored the spurs at all. The spurs got hacked all night and the refs swallowed their whistles.

The only reason the were even in the game at that point was due to our stubbornness on offense in going into Tim every damn play.
