I loved Elastica. I should get their first album again. Someone stole it from me years ago.
Currently playing: "30 Seconds" -- Tracy Bonham.
There a pretty sweet band, a little Flaming Lips-ish

I love her voice. I like Raine Maida's from Our Lady Peace because he lists her as him #1 influence and you can sorta tell from their earlier work. Their later stuff sucks though, but he still have a good voice.
Actually I saw you liked Massive Attack too, I'll post a live version he did of their song Teardrop. It's an awesome live cover, and even if you don't like OLP, the cover is awesome stuff. I'll post it when I get home from work
Nickelback.

Broken Chords Can Sing A Little-A Silver Mount Zion
I just found out about this band a couple of weeks ago, side project of Godspeed you Black Emporer, just absolutely some of the most beautiful music ever made. Any fans of stuff like Mogwai or Sigur Ros, really ambient stuff, should check out their earlier cds
thanks for the heads up, i'll definitely look into them. huge sigur ros fan.
Yeah, I mean Gravity pretty much sucked IMO with the exception of a song or 2. I liked them because they were not mainstream, but they made an album with the main goal of making them mainstream. I don't like that, it makes me angry![]()
There are no vocals, just a bunch of string arrangments and different instruments coming in and out, mood music at its best. Check out either Born Into Trouble As The Sparks Fly Upward or He Has Left Us Alone But Shafts Of Light Sometimes Grace The Corners Of Our Rooms, both ablolutely amazing and beautiful albums. And I dont know if you ever listin to Godspeed You Black Emporer, but if not check out their album Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven, amazing. You can check out snippets of both bands on Amazon
"What's the Time (Hey Buddy)" -- Bow Wow Wow
