Manu's absence was huge tonight, Spurs win easily if Manu plays, he runs that like kool runs hoes.
All about match ups. We play the Heat much better than the Thunder do.

10 points and 4 boards in the 2nd qauter?????
congrats on a regular season win
Welp. I wish this would have been more compe ive, but we all knew the deck was stacked against the Spurs tonight. Anything less than a Thunder win would have been a surprise, all things considered. The Spurs did what they needed to do, win in Indy and against GSW to pad the West lead for a loss.
The officiating of these games just hasn't gotten better since Game 6, which is the only reason OKC's hero ball system works. The Spurs did plenty of damage to themselves, but this should be a nice reset heading into the final six games.
Spurs played weak last minute of the first half. At that point it looked like they'd suc b to the Thunder defense. We need more mental toughness. Thunder are a great team but the Spurs can beat them if they stop being intimidated by the athletes and the refs catch the 5 or 6 times Westbrook ran into our guards, knocked them down, and then stole the ball.
When's the parade? Eat a bag of s.
way to spin the stats..
Any casual observer can see the disparity in foul calls between the Spurs and Thunder. There's a reason the Thunder are playing catchup to the team they're supposed to be vastly superior to in the standings.
Spurs win next 2-3 games. Thunder lose 2 out of their next 4 games. No biggie..
This Thunderef team aren't going anywhere. Westbrick has neither the mental for ude or knees.
Props thunderup. Looking forward to the playoffs
"The Thunder suck, the refs, return of SuperManu, etc" = fanboy delusion
For a team that sucks so bad, they sure do a good job of kicking the out of the Spurs.
The Thunder have a full spectrum defensive strategy to beat the Spurs.
We've got Leonard. It's just not enough. They're a better team.
I have a feeling the Thunder are going to try to win every game. Spurs can only afford to lose another game. The spurs will have to get 64 wins to win the west. I think they can pull it off. It will be funny to see OKC with 63 wins and the second seed. I don't think a team has ever won that many games and ended up in second place.
I agree. As long as we have homecourt.
The good thing I got out of the game was that they were only up 10 points with under 2 minutes and they still had all their starters and we didn't.
The disparity in foul calls was embarassing...and the one that gave the sense of how the game was gonna be called was the double techical the bold ref gave to Duncan and Perkins... Duncan was fouled and the hold by Perkins long after the call...I didn't do nothing but take out the arm of Perkins from his body. Perkins then pushed him away. Duncan didn't react. Perkins should have been ejected for his stupid reaction. I don't really understand how an nba ref can make such a call...
It's true, and they have zero respect for the Spurs, but the refs help them in a major way. Kawhi missing most of the 3rd had a huge impact on the game. them anyways, Spurs need to rough them up tbh. Hard fouls or even dirty fouls. People act is of Horry and Bowen never played for this team. the Thunder. tbh.
but this is why i fear the thunder cuz the refs give them their flops every time. when they took away durant's swinging his arms thru for a shot, they now give westbrook and fisher freethrows for falling on 3 pointers.
Pop kept Leonard out to start the 3rd for a reason, lol @ OKC taking anything out of this win.
No. They really aren't. We have a matchup problem, for sure, but watch their offense. It's a catastrophe that relies heavily on spot up shooters running against defenses that don't have time to set. Not to mention they were handed favorable calls and no calls all night. It's not a fanboy excuse. The officiating was and it may not have led to a Spurs win but Kawhi's foul trouble caused issues early and the Spurs clearly gave up on attacking the paint, knowing they would just get massacred and set up another OKC fast break. OKC is far more athletic but their "system" only works when the Spurs stop imposing theirs. Game 6 of the 2012 WCF is a perfect example of the kind of wall the Spurs hit when they start playing the Thunder's game.
