I said the same , I was wrong in regards to the regular season, tho he is defiantly not top tier material for a playoff run, Rockets remain mediocre even with the addition of peanut head.
Under close inspection his flaws become glaring.

I think Houston is a legit contender with the right coach. They have enough talent. McHale won't cut it though.

That's what all teams need.
Not against a team with actual coaching like Dallas and San Antonio. You have the right match-up for the first round but after that there would need to be a 2nd choke job by a team that is legitimately better than the Blazers. Harden and Dwight are not the cream of the crop and McHale is a complete corpse out there.
We can beat either Dallas or San Antonio no problem. We have significantly more talent than those teams.
The team that will give us problems should we match up is OKC.

Made a mistake not gunning for him harder tbh. Guests' ceiling is limited due to terrible D and Splitter would've improved it to average. Good thing for the Spurs they didn't.

Considering neither contribute much on offense and Splitter is a far better defender, I'd say he's the superior player. Chinook, what say you?

Lopez - 11.1 ppg 8.5 rpg 0.9 apg
And Splitter is a LOUSY defender!
