Donald Trump says he would have prevented 9/11 and I agree with him.
Wow trump killing it in SC. Record crowds. Highest poll #s ever.
Amazing. Magnificent.
Donald Trump says he would have prevented 9/11 and I agree with him.
GOP candidates debating whether Bush Jr presidency was a great one or a terrible one
not really the way GOP strategists would have drawn it up
can't believe Jeb is falling for Trumps baits. he could possibly be stupider than his bro![]()
love the "he kept us safe" rhetoric when he was the first president in a long time to actually allow an attack like that on US soil![]()
I saw Jeb on tv actually yesterday he was saying "what's important is what a president does after the fact. Not before"
I am dead serious he said that with a straight face. He is most definitely the dumber of the 2 re s![]()
I seriously think Jeb was frozen the last 12 years and was recently thawed out. His brain still in the circa 2003 mentality![]()
Bernie the cuck = eternally stumped!
Clinton allowed the NYC attacks before 9/11 then.
I personally don't think it mattered who was president. Trump saying he could have prevented them shows what a dumb he is. Does he have a frkn clue how many layers of intelligence analysis and red tape exists? And he thinks that just goes away magically if he is president, like there is no waste or double billing and waste of resources in his own business.
GTFOH...
German spies infiltrated in Al Quaeda warned of an imminent attack. What did bush do? He reassigned the team in charge of watching al quaeda to his pet project, Iraq
Nobody can say for sure if it could have been.prevented. But it happening under a re 's watch is no coincidence
Remember Donald Trump will be hosting SNL. I can not wait.
but Clinton and Dems took Muslim terrorism seriously, when after AQ and OBL. The Repugs in office TOTALLY ignored Muslim terrorism until 9/11. Then welcomed 9/11 as pretext to invade Iraq for oil
The head-cir scribed 9/11 commission listed MANY things that could have been done, been ordered by the WH to prevent 9/11.
Like yourself, your false equivalence sucks.
Trump says he fought 'very, very hard' against Iraq War. There's no evidence that happened.
"I am the only person on this dais [] that fought very, very hard against us — and I wasn’t a sitting politician — going into Iraq. Because I said going into Iraq — that was in 2003, you can check it out, check out — I’ll give you 25 different stories. In fact, a delegation was sent to my office to see me because I was so vocal about it."As Drum notes:
So far, no one has managed to find even the slightest record of Trump opposing the Iraq War before it started.
Indeed, it's difficult to find any stories of Donald Trump opining on Iraq, much less 25 of them, and Donald Trump has never been known as a man who liked to keep a low profile.
Our own Nexis search on news stories that mentioned Trump and Iraq before the war reveals only a 2002 satirical column in the Chicago Tribune announcing "Miss Universe Pageant owner Donald Trump starts a Miss Iraq compe ion."
So unless Donald Trump considers his bathroom mirror to be a news outlet, nobody seems to have picked up on his deep commitment to keeping the United States out of an Iraq War.
And celebrity figures being against the Iraq War was a bit of a big deal, back then.

The legend of Donald Trump grows.
http://www.mediaite.com/online/joe-s...predicted-911/“I really am convinced we’re in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the bombing of the Trade Center look like kids playing with firecrackers,” wrote Trump in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve. “No sensible analyst rejects this possibility, and plenty of them, like me, are not wondering if but when it will happen.”
Trump even mentions Osama bin Laden by name, in a criticism of an American foreign policy that too quickly jumps from one crisis to the next.
“One day we’re told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin-Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jetfighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan,” The Donald wrote. “He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and new crisis.”

When the VRWC/Repugs have been pushing their "Let's All Hate and Destroy Govt!", they didn't realize they were included.

Donald Trump is becoming more and more serious. This could actually happen. I will probably volunteer for his campaign if he gets the nomination.
Buy his book to help fund the campaign, you can preorder it on amazon
Panicked establishment gets ready for war against Trump
This weekend was an inflection point in the Republican presidential race — a moment in which some significant part of the GOP establishment came out of denial and realized Donald Trump might well become their party's nominee.
"The Republican establishment, for the first time, is saying, off the record, this guy can win," noted Joe Scarborough on MSNBC Monday morning. "I've heard that from everybody. I don't hear anybody saying he can't win the nomination anymore."
That doesn't mean Republicans have made their peace with a Trump victory. On the contrary —
some are preparing to do whatever it takes to bring him down. Which could lead to an extraordinary scenario in which GOP stalwarts go to war to destroy their own party's likely nominee.

Great Entertainment!
I'm not giving a billionaire money to fund his campaign and I don't need his book to know all the great things he is going to do for us. I have a deep understanding of Trump -- a real connection, if you will.
However, I will strongly consider being a part of his "get out the vote" campaign. He needs more man power to educate the masses.
Why is the establishment panicked. Have they seen his tax plan?
They know he will lose to Hillary or Bernie, which would mean the VRWC would lose their SCOTUS majority between 2016 - 2020, etc, etc.
The really big wins for the Repugs since Jan 2009 have been in SCOTUS, not in Congress (where they have accomplished NOTHING POSITIVE, only destruction)
Trump is a fighter. He can beat Hillary and Bernie. If he sniffs a chance to actually win the general election, he will probably start putting up way more of his own money as well.
^this, he hasn't even begun to spend money on his campaign yet
he's an asshole. He won't beat a Dem candidate, because he will lose the Presidential vote
He doesn't need to. He is winning on the strength of his ideas (and to a lesser extent, on the strength of his celebrity) despite all the money that Club for Growth and Jeb Bush are spending campaigning against him.
It's remarkable. We are seeing the rise of a truly once in a generation candidate. Other billionaires have tried to run, but none have done what Trump is doing.
