Damn, Cousins is a nightmare matchup.
he's like prime Rasheed but bigger and more dominant in the post.

Damn, Cousins is a nightmare matchup.
He was doing the same last year vs GSW. He's an absolute beast. He better make the all-star game this year.

The reserve frontline of Dedmon and Lee were great tonight. Dedmon played very good d on Cousins and Lee is such a good finisher around the rim.

Green, Kawhi, LMA, and Dedmon is going to be a nice defensive 4-some.
LMA is more of an offensive guy.

Not sure what game you were watching, but Cousins beasted and the Spurs were out of position, playing bad defense for most of the game. The Spurs got as many gifts as Sacramento did from the refs.

Pretty good comparison... Dedmon seems to be more athletic than Nazr, though...
Dedmon has a potential to be a PnR threat via lobs.... if only there was a pass first PG on the roster.

Now we have to find a PG who is a defender.
    Good luck.

    Way more athletic and physical.
although I have to say, we didn't hold the Pistons to 78.5 ppg in the Finals solely because of Duncan and Bowen.

I almost hate to say this, but even though Simmons did some of his old crap, he kept being aggressive and putting pressure on the defense. He got tot he line 4 times, and pitched 3 AST's. He got credited with 2 TO's, but he was probably responsible for at least a couple more. But he played with confidence and he never got hesitant, and he's always a threat to take it to the rim, which keeps defenses honest. On a not-great night, you can still understand why they kept him.

Hard to believe he only put up 2 shots, though, isn't it?

The first part of his statement is true: Cousins was a beast, and the Spurs' defense was terrible until Kawhi starting his thieving.

Early 2000s Sheed and early 2010s Zbo before he got slow and ineffective again.

Damning with faint praise. Parker was pitching a perfect game until the 9 minute mark. Anything he did was going to be an improvement.
Yeah, it wasn't intended to be glowing. He did his job and didn't up. Not sure why some of you guys refuse to even acknowledge when he helps the team win.

I'I'll give him his due but he didn't shoot 36 on his own and they were generous with him also

Pretty much a bigger Zack Randolh, very similar game, just bigger.

Some of those rebounds were pretty legit, but Parker's play in the 4th was far better than anything else he did in the game. Not great, but solid, and his effort on defense went way up. As I said earlier, there's clearly something wrong with him physically.

8767440[/URL]]Age is a factor, but there's something physically wrong with him. He lost all of his explosion almost overnight.
Over night? Dude hasn't been able to do for 2 years except the occasional spin move (that is predictable and looks exactly the same every time). His game was all quickness and he has none now. I appreciate everything TP has done for the franchise but he's is DONE. I hope he sticks around long enough to show Murray the ropes then...adios

Pau will get better (offensively at least). Not sure what Pop was thinking when he decided to have him guard arguably the most skilled bigman in the league in Boogie tbh.
Pop probably gave him an ultimatum that if he want to start then he has to guard the other teams best big-man or sit his ass on the bench. After getting pounded by Cousins in the 1st quarter, it seemed like Pau chose the latter.

It's best if he comes off the bench like Z-Bo is doing this season & not worry about getting bested on by backup centers or getting picked on by backup PGs.
