Also, still bugs me that they announce it and give him a Spurs cap even though he knows he is already traded.
A player mocked at #20 falls to the Spurs #38, but they would rather have

I liked Kam Jones until he measured at the Combine
we don't need a center! we need cash! sending our scouts to watch juan nunez in barcelona next year won't be cheap!
we are going to have to find several separate buyeres for our 4 SRPs next season. these include:
- least favorable of OKC/Dallas/Philly
- Our SRP with swap rights attached to the least favorable of Indiana/Miami
- less favorable of NOP/Portland
- Utah SRP
Spurs to Wemby:. " your feelings, clown. Mime. Le drop dead."
Someday we gonna cash in a dozen SRPs for the next LeBron James or something just wait!
Maybe he sucks?
Yall know we can get a big in FA, right? The hand wringing over a 2nd rounder who won't be on the active roster is crazy.
Other than the fact that Wemby is buddies with Reynaud, did the Spurs ever show any actual interest in him?
At this point I'd grab him and stick him on a 2-way.
Monica McNutt is shockingly bad.
We need to realize part of what we are after here is instant gratification which life often denies in favor of patience.
I was going to stop watching after 38 but now I’m curious where Raynaud goes. lol I’m still old enough to remember when I wrote an entire article connecting him to the Spurs at 14 lmao
That is definitely a likely possibility.
That would require brains. Our front office is stupid as anything they have gotten Wemby, Castle, Harper Bryant just fell in their lap. They are total dum s.
I guess there's still hope he goes undrafted, but I highly doubt it. Maybe he ends up in OKC.
TBH my top targets were Fleming, Kalkbrenner and Penda, I'd take Raynaud but it was the first three I was most interested in, all of those were a lot more expensive, so I don't have a problem with the Spurs trading out. At this point if they want anyone it's a matter of contract more than having a pick, they'll get whoever they want as long as they're willing to pay him.
Overreactions are what Spurstalk specializes in.
They just took Sorber and have no roster spots, they may be able to create some but at a certain point they have to stop hoarding talent... or so you'd think![]()
the hand wringing is over a team that refuses to treat SRPs as a resource to improve the team
the pacers just made a finals run with multiple guys who were SRPs or UDFAs in their rotation
ace, can you please not spoil FFS![]()
Maybe just maybe… the spurs knew they could get a solid future SAC pick + money… and trade some ty 2nds they have for Raynaud… it’s doubtful tho
