lol, it's going to be so awkward next year if RJ is still here and the Spurs got booted in the first round again this year...

Pretend like you called it all along. Do it.
Do I really need to find the motha ing post. I never called J-blow a spur killer, its just the fact that the Spurs don't have a guy to defend a player in the Josh/Butler mold. So, anytime a spurfan said "YEAH! THE MAVS DON'T HAVE SPURKILLER JOSH!" I said that Caron will be just as good against them, if not better.

I like how we were utilizing the half court trap defense in the end of the 2nd. It reminds me of back in the day.

One of the biggest losers the last 15 years
He has just as many rings as Dirk, Kidd, Terry, Butler and Dampier, combined.

three things stick out to me...

#1)---this is why I would rather have played the lakers....mavs playing with swagger/arrogance/confidence---(but they bend over for EVERYONE ELSE)

#2) ---g hill ---needs to show up ---injury or not---if he is hurt---play temple....

    #3)...most important----

this is EXACTLY the kind of game where the SPURS can steal one---just up the intensity in the 2nd half----steal THIS game and it would be BIG

    LET'S DO IT!!!!!!

The game has been ugly so far, but the Spurs are hanging tough. In games like this, they may just have to try to hang around and steal it at the end.

Need to cut down on the turnovers, get a body on people on the glass, and do something about both Butler and Haywood. They cannot continue to play at this pace.

I always expect for Dirk to stop hitting bull shots, but it never happens.

Chris Webber probably came closer to a Championship in 2002 than Dallas did in 2006.

You wanna call him a loser then you better take a hard long look at yourself.

Hill being gimpy is a huge blow. RJ being worse than expected also doesn't help.

If no one other than the Big 3 stands up, Pop has to find a way to give Blair more minutes. At least he makes things happen.
Agreed. Blair showed that he deserves more minutes and can contribute in a major way. The team seemed to get a boost of energy with him on the floor blocking shots and taking it to the basket with aggression.

Spurs have a healthy Manu. Things will be OK. Manu will not let the Mavs win this series.

17pts on 11tos has a little to do with it too.
Yeah, we gotta stop that in the second half. We could have the lead right now.

I can't remember the last time I saw an opposing team defend their glass against Tim and their bigs as well; they've not shot at getting the board.

That size is going to be a HUGE issue if the Spurs can't put any fouls on them (It'd be nice if the Spurs could get to the line).

Butler has played 1 half against the Spurs...and you're comparing him to Howard? Who killed the Spurs for 3 or so years?

More Manu pick-and-rolls to start the second half. As long as Manu doesn't force a one-handed pass for no reason, that play has worked well.

Bogans is strong/quick enough to defend Butler but his offense is lacking right now...that's why he got yanked.

Exactly. He knows losers. Can see them from a mile away because he was so proficient at it. He saw him some losers tonight. And it's not the team in black.

Blair has come to play. He will play as hard as he can in the playoffs.

    Maybe he needs more minutes.

Blair is looking tougher than Hill, Bonner, Mason Jr. and RJ combined. This will take a HUGE team effort to beat this very, very good Dallas team.
