    Minutes Played :
    Curry = 17259 (reg. season) + 1657 (playoffs) in 7 seasons
    Kawhi = 9680 (reg. season) + 2266 (playoffs) in 5 seasons

    Every year the gap will widen. Kawhi will thank Pop for a longer prime/career and less injuries.
    Post of the year.

    He didn't end up reinjuring the ankle but it's the equivalent of playing Manu in the last game of the season when he got hurt. Pointless.
    LOL what? Playoff games are pointless? The Phoenix game Manu got injured in was pointless since the Spurs #1 seed had already been set. Game 4 of a playoff series up 2-1 is anything but pointless. They lose that game and they're in a best of 3 against a guy who could get hot for a couple of games and end their season. Meanwhile getting a 3-1 series lead with Game 5 at home ensures they'd get a good amount of rest before the Clippers series. I can't believe you're comparing playoff games to a useless last day of the regular season game. That's like saying Pop was a dumbass for playing Kawhi, the Spurs could have beaten the Grizzlies without him. They surely could have, but probably not a sweep that gives them a week to prepare for OKC.

    Curry played 34 mpg this season...why do some people act like Kerr ran him into the ground and played him 40 minutes every night?

    I get that everyone wants to follow Pop's suit and act like every player needs to have their minutes limited, but get a grip. You can't blame every injury on "lack of rest". Playing 34 mpg in the prime of your athletic career isn't unreasonable or dangerous. I mean , have some of you seen the minutes Duncan used to play when he was in his 20s? , look at basically any HoFer and chances are they were playing far more minutes than Curry ever played this year.

    I'm glad that Pop is extra cautious with our players, but give me a break with this whole "well if Kerr and the Warriors never chased meaningless records, none of this would've happened" stuff. Injuries can happen regardless of how many minutes you played. Pop didn't play Parker or Splitter tons of minutes last year, and what do you know, they both deal with injuries in the 1st round.

    Playing Curry against the Rockets when he wasn't needed was dumb though. No reason he should have played yesterday. They already proved they can beat them without him.

    Why was it dumb? He was healthy. Was it dumb playing Leonard in the first round? Should the Cavs should have sat LeBron? Westbrook alone could eliminate Dallas considering Kyle Anderson, Boban Marjonovic, and Jonathan Simmons went into their building and beat them in a game Dallas really wanted to try to guarantee a 6-seed and give them a chance at the 5-seed.

    Kawhi was drafted by a playoff team, Curry was drafted to a lottery team lol and resting Kawhi hasn't stopped him from getting injured every year

    He didn't seem 100% to me, but I suppose that's just speculation on my part. I think if LMA didn't seem 100% after the pinky injury most posters here would have wanted him to sit out against Memphis.

    Curry wasn't healthy though. His ankle sprain was more serious than they let on.

    I think it makes sense for the warriors to intentionally lose the next game (assuming clippers win tonight) so that they can prolong this series and give curry more time to rest.

    it wont help with the scheduling. It'll gain maybe one more game and houston will smell blood and either win or injure some more,,,,,,,blood will be spilled.

    thats asking for trouble. harden is one streaky mother er. he could drop 50 three straight games and eliminate the warriors in the process.

    Les is a good owner. He demands excellence, spends money, brings in stars but doesn't micromanage. He and Morey have had some bad luck but it's time to produce. Morey has done a lot of good but also did stuff like bring in McHale. Regardless of what analytics was running through his mind, he should have been bringing in a good coach, even if that meant looking at the college game. Coach K and Billy Donovan spring to mind.

    Incompetent floor sweeper MVP of the series for the Rockets so far.
    Oh please, did you not see DMo slip on that spot just before Curry?

    Bull . If Les demanded excellence, they would have done something of worth in the 20 years since they last won. And you better believe he does meddle.

    -He's been willing to go into the luxury tax to retain stars.

    -He's always brought together a big 2 or big 3 with little time between the two. Hakeem and Yao fell into his lap but he was on hand for when they traded for Drexler (which led to a le), Barkley, Scottie Pippen, Steve Francis (bust or not, he was worth it for a few years), T-Mac, Ron Artest, Harden and Howard. He has tried.

    -He's been plagued by injuries to big stars, especially Yao and T-Mac. He may have a couple more les if either could stay healthy.

    -He's been plagued by a lack of chemistry and effort, especially with the latest combo.

    -Les was hurt dearly by former GM Carroll Dawson, whose crimes included crippling the team's salary cap for years by signing Kelvin Cato and Maurice Taylor to large contracts and underperformance for that pay. Say what you want about Morey, he's not without criticism but he immediately upgraded the roster from Dawson through the draft, trade rights (Scola) and coaching (Rick Adelman) which made the Rockets a legit le contender immediately after. He kept the roster compe ive before landing Harden and Howard while the Yao era came to a painful end and made some nifty moves here and there to add quality, such as Josh Smith last season.

    My biggest gripe with him was changing the jerseys they wore in 1995 from the basic red and yellow to...bleh. Other than that, he is an owner that wants to win but also keeps his mind on the bottom line, though he isn't above losing some cash to support his team.

    Really annoyed about that. Clips could have knocked GSW out in the second round but are going to be without CP3 and Blake. I think that the best scenario is that the Rockets give a damn, force a game 7 and see what happens. Portland isn't beating GSW even without Curry.

    Les is basically your spoiled brat that thinks he's the reason the rockets won, when in fact he just inherited a championship team. There is a reason they haven't done since then

    Give me a break, he inherited a le contender but he has made constant upgrades over the years yet been screwed by bad luck. He's not Donald Sterling, Les has made a legit effort to win and without micromanaging (which doesn't mean he doesn't have a say in the way the team and personnel is compiled as well as the way it's been run).
